Saint-Gobain Sekurit On-board the Airbus A350
Saint-Gobain is the sole supplier of cockpit windows for the Airbus A350 XWB range, the future long-haul carrier which will start operating at the end of 2014. The windows were made by Saint-Gobain Sully with chemically-reinforced glass based on patented Solidion® technology, perfectly suited to bent glazing, for a lower weight compared to conventional glass. Already sole supplier of the A380, Saint-Gobain pursues its collaboration with Airbus.
