Anti-tipping system An overload sensor on the rear axle prevents tipping by automaticallyshutting down those functions that increase the radius (telescopingout and lowering).

Oscillating rear axleThe oscillating rear axle guarantees excellent stabilityon all ground conditions. The double-action steering

cylinder gives a low turning radius.

Clear rear visibilityThe shape of the counterweight was optimised to offer a wide andunhindered view and increased safety for personnel during travel.

Drive The 239 kW high torque/low rpm engine (1,478 Nm from 1,000to 1,400 rpm) ensures that the Super Stacker com-bines maximum power with low fuel consumption.Its management system includes an automaticengine safety programme.

Boom The following special design features bring high telescopingspeeds to the booms on the h and hc range:- The use of high-tensile steel gives the structures the strength tooperate under high bending and torsional stresses with no risk ofpermanent deformation.- The guide systems for the cylinder and telescoping sectionallow the slide pads to be fine adjusted, giving both them and thetelescoping mechanism a longer life span. - All the telescoping components can be reached from behind theboom for easier maintenance work.

Container locking The locking mechanisms are designed for intensive use and are positioned in the spreaderframe for full protection from impacts and foul weather.Our detection system prevents locking errors during the locking action to give all-round operatio-nal safety.

Spreader tilt angleDifficult gripping manoeuvres can be made easier by selecting the dam-ping system while in lock mode if the natural slope of the spreader isnot enough.

MaintenanceThe self-diagnosis system and easy accessto the main components ensure minimumdowntime during maintenance work.

CabThe spacious air-conditioned andsoundproofed cabin also includes anadjustable, air-cushioned seat to givemaximum operator comfort.The in-cab electrical componentshave all been placed in their owncompartment for complete protectionand ease of maintenance.Clear instrumentationA quick scan of the instrument panelclearly reveals vital information at aglance.

HC VERSION

In response to specific requests, we have developed this refined, high comfort (”hc”) version, which brings the follo-wing equipment to the standard ”h” version:

functions� Container counter

NB: the ”hc” finish is applied as standard to L, LS, LX and LSX models.
