Subsequent analysis of risks involved. o Gained some valuable contacts via networking/introductions. Self-Employed Gardening Contractor- Summer Job: (2013) Advertised my services in gardening/odd jobs during a time of tough employment conditions: o Received several calls and all customers were happy with the work I had completed. o Able to fund my summer holiday whilst choosing my own hours and benefiting others. POSITIONS OF RESPONSIBILTY: o Appointed captain of the 1 st XV rugby team in senior school year. This role required me to adopt an appropriate leadership style and to motivate my team mates. Won a national final, the schools’ first trophy in several years. o During my 6 th form years I assisted in the coaching of the under 12s rugby side. This required effective communication and strong organisational skills, as well as the ability to create drills/tasks that kept them engaged. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Keen sportsman- represented school, club and university in rugby union and golf (handicap 5) Active member of the Finance and Investment society at university, meeting like-minded people to discuss to financial news. I regularly attend talks from various employers at campus events. Computer literate- Word, PowerPoint, Excel (working knowledge)
