What an incredible year it has been so far seeing our local football team Leicester City achieve the impossible by winning the premier league! It has also been a busy year for the OEM Panel Components team with lots of exciting new products to launch and many more to follow.

Stego has launched a new innovative range of filter fans with enhanced features.

The Filter Fan Plus series with its unique technology achieves a more effective air circulation and offers a considerable plus in airflow.

A major part of the improved air flow is the use of the ‘air-flap’ system. This new concept eliminates the need for an additional filter mat on the outlet, enhancing the exhaust air flow. When not in operation the flaps close reducing the ingress of any dirt.

The new ratchet mount system provides a quick, secure and tool free installation into enclosures between 1mm – 4mm thick. By pressing the built in ratchet lugs the fan is pulled in to the cabinet wall with a reassuring click giving the installer the confidence that the fan is securely fitted.

In or Out?

The Filter Fan Plus range is available in two high performance systems ensuring the right combination for your application. Whichever you choose you can be sure increased air flow over conventional systems.

FPI – Airflow “IN”

This is the most common approach; a filter fan with filter mat is located in the lower part of the cabinet and draws cool air in from the outside and over pressure forces the warm air out from the exhaust grille. Thanks to the flaps on the grille the air flow is far more efficient.

FPO – Airflow “OUT”

This is an alternative approach, where it may be necessary to expel the heat build up more directly from the upper part of the enclosure. FPO is the active part placed at the top of the cabinet and has the air flap technology; the intake filter is fitted at the bottom of the cabinet creating a vacuum as the cooler air is drawn in.
