Galatians 5:16-25 (NIV)16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you

will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17 For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the

sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not

do what you want.

are not under law. 19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual

the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,

faithfulness,

such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have

crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with

the Spirit.

Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

2. He leads us in the Word.

1 Corinthians 2:9-11 (NIV)9 However, as it is written: "No eye has

seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared

for those who love him"-- 10 but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The

Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

except the Spirit of God.

3. He leads us in our prayers.

Ephesians 6:18 (NIV)

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be

alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

4. He leads us in our worship.

5. He leads us in living in and for the Kingdom of God.
