Processing the application for Emergency Travel Document may take up to 2 working days. Sending your documents to the ETD Processing facility You will need to send certain documents to the ETD processing facility to complete your application. You can either do this on a Smartphone or tablet, by taking photos of them and emailing, or get a friend or someone else to do this for you (they don’t have to be in Estonia).

Photos

You will need a passport photo for your application. There are various options:

1. Take a good quality photo of yourself against a white background in good light (no sun reflection or shadow) or scan in a recent passport photo of you.

2. Some main train stations have a photo machine on the platform. Scan in or take photo of the passport photo and send to the ETD issuing office.

• You will receive email that your application has been received.

• You will receive email once your Emergency Travel Document is ready for collection and the times when you can come to collect it. You would need to collect it from the British Embassy Tallinn, Wismari 6.
