I do, I do, let me tell you the way. But first a few questions for you to answer today!

If you passed your driving test and I asked you to drive to

London or Edinburgh, giving you no sat-nav, map or any directions

just the car keys - do you think you would find your way?

or Edinburgh if I did not know the way!

If you became a pilot and you were flying high

above the clouds and I told you to fly to Spain,

giving you no map or any directions,

do you think you would find your way?

What about a boat? If you went to sea and you were

in the middle of a big ocean with water all around you

and I asked you to sail to America, giving you no map or any directions, do you think you

would find your way?

I would never find America if I did not know the way!

You are very clever – very clever indeed. And now you know what you will need. A map or directions

to show you the way, even to heaven so you

do not go the wrong way.

Mummy! Daddy! Nanna! Grandad! Do you know the way?

The Bible tells us that Jesus came to show us the way,

and we should listen to all he has to say.

Jesus said ‘Follow me and I will show you what to do,

there are not a lot of directions, only a few’.

The first thing that you should do, is to be baptised

like Jesus told us to.

The second thing for you to do, is to believe in Jesus because he

makes everything new.

If you believe in Jesus you will live with him forever.

It is so easy to do; you do not have to be clever!

So now you have some directions to show you the way.

On the way to heaven there are two things I should do:

be baptised like Jesus told me to

and if I believe in Jesus I will live with him forever.
