Slide 10 UV Tracer Once dry the solution is not visible. The UV Tracer allows the Police to locate the marking by scanning an item with a UV-light - the mark fluoresces blue. Slide 11 IDENTIFIER 1: Microcodes For Immediate ID 1000s of Microcodes in the solution can be read under a microscope to show our database website address and a unique customer code. Slide 12 IDENTIFIER 2: Microcodes wrapped in synthetic DNA The solution containing the Microcodes consists of a unique synthetic DNA which can be used, identically almost to human DNA, for identification of ownership.
