These modules will allow you to calculate your steel design projects.

RFEMRFEM is a 3D Finite Element Analysis (FEA) program for Plates Shells Frameworks

Due to the modular conception of the software, a package can be assembled that is tailored to individual demands.

RF-STEELRF-STEEL is one of the add-on modules integrated in the RFEM user interface. The program is subdivided into two parts:RF-STEEL Surfaces performs the stress analysis and also the serviceability limit state design for surfaces.RF-STEEL Members designs member elements.RF-STEEL carries out the general stress analysis by calculating existing stresses and comparing them with the limit stresses.

RF-STEEL EC3RF-STEEL EC3 performs all typical ultimate limit state designs, stability and deformation analyses, as well as fire protection designs for structural steel according to

EN 1993-1-1:2005 + AC:2009 EN 1993-1-2:2006 + AC:2005 EN 1993-1-4:2006 (fire protection design) EN 1993-1-5:2006

RF-FRAME-JOINT ProThe RFEM add-on module RF-FRAME-JOINT Pro creates and classifies bending-resistant, bolted connections between columns and horizontal beams.The rigid bolt connections are designed by the ultimateload method according to Eurocode 3.

RF-HSSRF-HSS represents the RFEM add-on module that designs various new hollow section connections or modifies the existing ones. Planar and spatial truss nodes, which contain round, square, or rectangular hollow sections, can be designed. RF-HSS performs the ultimate limit state design according to specifications given in Eurocode 3 (EN 1993-1-8:2005).

RF-JOINTS Steel - DSTVThe RFEM add-on module RF-JOINTS Steel - DSTV (German Steel Construction Association) designs moment resisting and pinned I-beam connections for members according to the German guideline „Typified Connections in Steel Building Construction.“ The design capacities are determined in accordance with the Standard:

RF-CONCRETEThe add-on module RF-CONCRETE is used for the design of structural components made of reinforced concrete. RF-CONCRETE performs the reinforced concrete design of surfaces, members, and sets of members for the ultimate and the serviceability limit state according to

EN 1992-1-1:2004 + AC:2010

RF-CONCRETE ColumnsThe add-on module RF-CONCRETE Columns is a powerful software tool of the RFEM program family used to design reinforced concrete. Take advantage of RF-CONCRETE Columns to perform the ultimate limit state design for rectangular or circular compression elements according to the model column method (method based on nominal curvature).

RF-PUNCHThe RFEM add-on module RF-PUNCH is used for the design of punching shear resistance for surfaces sup-ported by columns or nodal supports. The governing punching load is automatically determined from the specified load. However, it is also possible to apply a concentrated punching load to a plate manually. RF-PUNCH allows for a quick punching shear design without entering a lot of data. The following Standard is available:

RF-CONCRETE NLThe add-on module RF-CONCRETE NL is an extension to the RF-CONCRETE program group. RF-CONCRETE NL allows for a realistic calculation of deformations, stress-es, and crack widths of plates, walls, planar structures, and shells made of reinforced concrete by taking into ac-count the nonlinear behavior of the composite material when determining internal forces and deformations. The nonlinear calculation is specified in the following Standard:

RF-CONCRETE DeflectThis add-on module is used for deformation analysis of shell structures taking into account the cracked state. Creeping, shrinkage, and tension stiffening between the cracks can be included in the deformation analysis.

RF-FOUNDATION ProThe add-on module FOUNDATION Pro is used to design single, bucket, and plate foundations for all support forces of an RFEM model according to:

In addition, the fire protection design according to EN 1995-1-2 is available.The following beam types can be designed:

RX-TIMBER PurlinThe stand-alone module RX-TIMBER Purlin designs beams for the ultimate and the serviceability limit states as well as for fire protection according to EN 1995-1-1:2009 (EC5) and DIN 1052:2008-12. RX-TIMBER Purlin determines the coupling elements required in the coupling zone for:

Single-span beam with and without cantilever Continuous beam with and without cantilever Hinged girder system (Gerber) with and without

cantilever

RX-TIMBER FrameRX-TIMBER Frame designs three-hinged frames with finger joint connections.

RX-TIMBER BraceThe stand-alone program RX-TIMBER Brace performs the ultimate and the serviceability limit state design as well as the fire protection design for stiffening bracings in accordance with the European Standard EN 1995-1-1:2004-11 (EC 5).
