biography

DJ Femme Fatale first launched herself onto the scene via London pirate radio stations, it was then she was offered a residency at London’s landmark Ministry of Sound Club at the legendary House and Garage night, here with her cutting-edge, high-octane sets she quickly developed a loyal following and then got spotted by the BBC.

She was the first-signed DJ to present their own show on BBC1xtra when it launched in 2002, being offered a prime time Saturday night set , she also enjoyed numerous guest slots on BBC Radio One, Kiss 100 and presenting MTV Dance.

From this start the Ministry of Sound used Femme as their Tour DJ along with her own weekly show on Ministry of Sound TV – alongside legendary Radio One DJs Pete Tong and Zane Lowe - which could be watched on any 3G phone.

Recognition of Femmes rise to popularity has been acknowledged by her winning several key awards: ‘Best Female DJ’ at the UK People’s Choice Awards and ‘Best Radio/Club DJ’ at the Underground Music Awards. She’s also strongly supported by music industry tastemakers and cohorts alike. For example, she was nominated ‘Best DJ’ by a panel of record industry professionals on ‘Underground 2003’, BBC3’s music show presented by Trevor Nelson; and name-checked on The Street’s criti-cally acclaimed “A Grand don’t come for free” album. Additionally, with her talent, broad-appeal and good looks to boot, DJ Femme Fatale is a ‘press darling’ and has enjoyed positive feature coverage in UK mainstream and specialist dance press alike from: the Daily Mail, Marie Claire, Esquire and Maxim, Mixmag,; as well Italy’s La Republica.

DJ Femme Fatale’s infectious passion and inimitable style promises to inspire new fans via the airwaves and clubs of the world for years to come. This, along with her high-profile media support and mission to champion new talent through her own-label collaborations, allows her the enviable position as one of today’s leading DJs.
