DIY REC - Day 4 Disc Golf & Ultimate Frisbee Day 4 Supply List Game Description Don’t forget to make a public post with photos of your family doing Rec together using #VBSTLH Game Description for Disc Golf Set up a three hole course around the yard or park. Pick a place to tee off and start your round. You can play by regular golf scoring where each hole is a set par, like you get 4 throws to make each hole. Then you keep score by whether you get over or under par like regular golf. Or you can just count the number of throws it takes to make all three holes and see who wins by taking the least number of throws. You can also play teams by each team member throws and then you take the best throw. Both team members now throw from that selected spot and this counts as you second throw. Continue taking your best throw and you keep one score for your team. Game Description for Ultimate Frisbee Play like regular rules for ultimate Frisbee. One team stars play and tries to pass the Frisbee toward the other team’s goal. Once a player catches the Frisbee, they must come to a complete stop and throw the Frisbee to another player to move the Frisbee down the field. Defense must give at least six feet for offense to throw the Frisbee (no close guarding). At any time if the Frisbee hits the ground, whether it is missed, dropped or knocked down by the opposing players, the opposing team now takes possession and begins to pass the Frisbee back toward their goal. You score a point by throwing the Frisbee through your hoop (goal). You can play first team to score three points wins the game. q PVC pipe / I used four 3 ft. long pieces of 1 inch pipe for each set (3 sets) q 12 PVC pipe elbow pieces q Hand saw q Duct Tape q Flag markers (optional)
