DIY Projects & Recipes What you’ll need: For Cupcakes: 1 Cup water 1/3 Cup oil 3 Whole eggs For Maple Candied Bacon: 1 lb. Thick cut bacon 1/3 Cup maple syrup 1/2 Cup brown sugar How It’s Done: For Cupcakes 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Coat bottom of tins with no stick cooking spray or shortening and a flour dusting. 3. Combine cake mix, 1 cup water, 1/3 cup of oil, and 3 whole eggs in large bowl, mixing until moistened. Beat with mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. 4. Pour batter into tins 2/3 of the way full -bake at 350 degrees for 19-23 minutes. When toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, cake is done. 5. Let cool 10-15 minutes before removing from pan. Cool cupcakes completely before frosting. For Candied Bacon 1. Preheat over to 400 degrees. 2. Place bacon on a wire rack on a foil covered pan. 3. Pour maple syrup over the bacon, dust with brown sugar - bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes – 4. Flip bacon, brush with additional maple syrup and sprinkle with additional brown sugar. 5. Bake for an additional 15 minutes. Bacon should be solid and crispy. 6. Once bacon has cooled, you can either cup the bacon into small strips, or place in a plastic bag and crumble by hand. 7. Frost cupcakes with canned cinnamon bun frosting, and top with crumbled bacon! • 3 Whole eggs

For Maple Candied Bacon:
