Tie a knot at the top of the string, leaving about one inch (2.5 cm) of string above the knot.

Secure the top of the bracelet just by holding it between the fingers or by taping or pinning it to a surface and start braiding. Braid the bracelet exactly as you would braid hair. Don't allow the two wires of the same color cross one another.

Continue braiding until you've braided an entire bracelet. Once you've found the desired length of your bracelet, tie the end in a knot, leaving an inch of string.

Now grasp the end of the braided segment with nose pliers and bend the 6 wires about 75 degrees.

Tie the two ends of the wire together. Use jump ring to connect the clasp to the loop in the end of the braided wire that you just completed.
