DIY Beauty Bar Workshop Craft Workshop Houston with Essential Oils by Pop Shop America Friday Oct. 7th 7pm – 9 pm at TXRX Labs Hackerspace 203 Roberts https://popshopamerica.com/

This workshop is going to be a lovely evening indeed! We’ll be making our own handcrafted beauty products. Join us and make 3 different beauty products – olive oil & honey hair mask, zit zapper, and lip gloss with natural ingredients. All of these beauty bar workshop items will be rich in healthy ingredients like coconut oil, olive oil, and essential oils. You can even make them for men!

All of these are rich with essential oils so you can scent them from fruity and citrusy, to floral and romantic, to herby and masculine. Try out new scents and hear about essential oil use.

Pop Shop America art classes are a super fun way to spend a Friday night. Each workshop has a rotating menu of small bites provided by Greenhouse Catering Co. + light cocktails. You can also BYOB + your own snacks are welcome too. We play great music and socialize while we craft.

Join us at our craft workshops every first Friday of the month at TXRX Labs. These workshops are lo-fi, beginner friendly, fun and cocktail friendly in which you will create your own stylish and modern design goods. It is in conjunction with TXRX weekly open house so you can also tour the building, say hi and learn about all the awesome equipment they have.

TXRX is a makerspace that allows membership access to 3d printers, a rapid prototyping lab, woodshop, machine shop, electronics lab and more. Our Pop Shop Workshops take place every first Friday of the month in the TXRX Labs Art Building.

WOOD BLOCK PHOTO TRANSFER ART CLASS | ART FESTIVALS

In this art class learn a super cool and easy photo transfer technique called gel medium transfers. We’ll use beautiful and thick blocks of wood as the surface to print photos Choose from tons of cool photos that we pick out.

Or if you want to use a personal photo, trade a couple of emails with us before the event and we’ll get your photos ready to be made into art!
