Priority Setting, Monitoring and Evaluation mechanism would assess– research efforts against well-defined targets– avoid duplication of research efforts– provide feedback to research planning process– establish link between performance evaluation

and incentive mechanism.

This PME activity has been implemented by integral efforts of IASRI, NCAP and NAARM.

PIMSNET has the module on M & CE based on these guidelines to track the progress of projects

– to see the inputs, work schedules, other required actions, outputs are proceeding as per plan

– feed back to initiate timely actions for correcting deficiencies in the implementation process
