All facilities, labor, material, equipment, and design services that are typically required for the completion of the Work are included in this design/buiild proposal. All Work shall comply with the applicable federal, state and local requirements.B. All sections in the Outline Specifications carry a one (1) year Standard Construction Warranty and Guaranteeagainst labor and material defects including Work performed by subcontractors. All equipment warranties greater than one (1) year will be passed to the Owner at project completion.SECTION 01002 INSURANCE AND BONDSDesign/Builder's Liability Insurance:A. Design/Builder shall purchase and maintain in a company or companies authorized to do business in the state inwhich the Work is located such insurance as will protect the Design/Builder from claims set forth below whichmay arise out of or result from operations under the Contract by the Design/Builder or a subcntractor of theDesign Builder, or by anyone directly or indirectly employed by any of them, including:1. Design/Builder will provide an overall design and construction schedule. The schedule will be updated monthly.SECTION 01500 Temporary Facilities and ControlsTEMPORARY FACILITIESA. TEMPORARY UTILITIESa. Water. Contractor shall pay for water used for his operations.b. Electrical. General contractor must pay for electricity used on the job. B. TEMPORARY TOILETSThe general contractor shall provide and maintain a toilet for the workmen. When the job is complete, toilet waste shall be disposed of in a manner agreeable to the architect or engineer.C. STORAGE OF MATERIALSThe contractor may store materials on the site. The contractor is responsible for all material unit buildings completion and possession by owner.SECTION 01400 Quality RequirementsAll parts of the construction shall be finished with first class worksmanship, to the fullest talent and meaning of the plans and these specifications, and to the entire satisfaction of the architect/ engineer and the owner.The construction shall conform to all the requirements of the national bilding code, as well as the local rules and regulations of the municipality of Bguio city, Philippines. SECTION 01710 CLEANINGA. Throughout the construction period, Design/Builder will maintain the building and site in a standard of cleanlinessconsistent with safe and efficient construction operations.1. Design/Builder will provide dumpsters for the use of all trades under its contract on this project.2. All storm drains will be protected drom debris during construction.B. Final cleaning of the structure.1. Broom clean all decks.2. Clean and wash all glass inside and out.3. Clean and empty all sediment baskets on all drains.4. Clean all flooring materials.

DIVISION 2 SITE WORKSECTION 02200 SITE PREPARATIONSCLEARING OF SITEA. CLEARING AND GRUBBINGThe contractor shall, as directed by the architect or engineer, remove at his own expense from the owners property and from all public and private property all temporary structures, rubbish, and waste materials resulting from his operation.B. STAKING OUT THE BUILDING LINESThe building lines shall be staked out and all lines and grades shown in drawing established before any excavation is started. Batter boards and reference marks shall be erected at such places where they will not be disturbed during the excavation of the building.SECTION 02300 EARTHWORKSA. EXCAVATINGExcavate to the dimensions shown on the various drawings (s-4), and do all things other excavation necessary to fully carry out the work shown or herein specified. Provide shoring whenever necessary. All footing trenches are to be excavated to the exact depths and widths required, with the side plumb and the bottom level. In no case shall bottom of footing be less than 1.2 m below natural grade line.B. BACKFILLSAfter concrete for foundations is hard enough to withstand pressure resulting from fills, the materials removed from excavations shall be used for backfill around them.Backfills and fills shall be placed in layers not exceeding 150mm in thickness, and each layer shall be thoroughly compacted by wetting, tamping and rolling.C. SOIL POISONINGROADS AND WALKSA. WALKS AND DRIVESAll floors shall be troweled smooth; all walks and driveways shall be troweled smooth and broom slightly all wearing surfaces. 03.3 SECTION 03 45 00 PRECAST ARCHITECTURAL CONCRETEA. Exterior window sills

STORAGE OF MATERIALSA. All cement for this work shall be delivered at least three days before using to allow for testing, if so desired, and shall be kept stored in a safe and dry place. B. Sand crushed rock will not be permitted to be piled directly upon the earth, and must be placed upon a platform of wood planks. Any cement found to be lumpy or otherwise injured by age or moisture will be rejected.CONCRETE FORMWORKA. Plumb and straight. All forms for concrete shall be properly braced or connected together so as to maintain the correct position and shapes of the concrete members. Forms shall be constructed sufficiently tight to prevent bulging and seepage of water.B. Forms shall not be removed until the concrete has attained sufficient strength to support its own weight and any load that may be placed on it. Side forms of beams and girders may be removed earlier than the bottom forms but additional posts or shoring must be placed under the beams and girders until they have attained their strength.C. Footing forms may be omitted if excavation to neat sizes and soil conditions approved.CONCRETE REINFORCEMENTA. All steel reinforcing bars to be used in this construction shall consist of round deformed bars with lugs or projections on their sides to provide a greater bond between the concrete and steel.B. The number, size, spacing, position and bending of the various bars are to be indicated on the drawings and schedules and no variations whatsoever is to be made without the written consent of the architect or engineer. C. All steel reinforcing bars shall be accurately placed and secured against displacement by tying them together at each bar intersection with gauge no. 16 galvanized iron wire.D. No metal reinforcement shall be installed in place unless it is free from rust, scale or other coatings, which will destroy or reduce the bond with concrete.CAST-IN- PLACE CONCRETEA. All concrete shall be mixed thoroughly until there is a uniform distribution of the cement and aggregates, and should be deposited as nearly as practicable in its final position, care being taken to avoid segregation of the aggregates.B. Water to be used for mixing concrete shall be clean and free from injurious amount of oil, acids, alkalis, salts and other organic materials.CONCRETE SLAB FLOORS ON FILLA. Concrete slabs on fill shall be poured on a gravel bed of not less than 100mm thick. Each concrete slab course to be poured shall not be more than one meter wide, and each course shall be poured alternately to the indicated floor finish.B. Provide steel troweled finish were scheduled and under all composition flooringC. Where tile finish flooring occur on concrete floors on the ground, depress the 100mm slab on and one half inches 38mm and omit trowelingD. Provide moisture barrier under all first floor concrete slabs. Material shall be one layer 0.1 thick plasex plastic sheet or approved equal.

DIVISIONS 4 MASONRY04.1 SECTION 04 20 00 - UNIT MASONRYA. Section includes:1. Mortar and grout for masonry.2. Concrete block (CHB) exterior cavity walls, masonry veneer walls, and interior concrete block walls.3. Reinforcement, anchorage, flashing, and accessories.Cement : Holcim Excel Portland cement ORCEMEX pozzolan cementB. Mortar and Grout:1. Conc. Beams and slabs- class A (1:2:4)5. Concrete slab floor on fill- CLASS C (1:3:6)6. Septic vault cover- class A (1:2:4)Class A concrete shall be a mixture of 1 part cement, 2 parts fine aggregate and 4 pars coarse aggregate by volume, plus enough clean water to make mixture into a pliable paste.Class B concrete shall be a mixture of 1 part cement, 3 parts fine aggregate and 6 parts coarse aggregate volume, plus enough clean water to make the mixture into a pliable paste.Class C concrete shall be a mixture of 1 part cement, 3 parts fine aggregates and 6 pars coarse aggregate by volume, plus enough clean water to make the mixture into a pliable paste.The fine aggregate for concrete shall consist of natural sand, or of inert materials with similar characteristics, having clean, hard and durable grains, free from organic matter or loam.The coarse aggregate for concrete shall consist of crushed rock of durable and strong qualities, or clean and hard gravel. Size of the coarse aggregate to be used shall vary from 20 mm to 40 mm.C. Masonry Components:1. Concrete Masonry Units (CHB) :All exterior concrete hollow blocks to be used for first floor walls shall be at least 150 mm thick, while concrete hollow blocks for interior walls unless otherwise indicated, shall be 100 mm thick2. Cast Masonry Stone Units: Severe Weathering; Calcium silicate masonry units, autoclave cured, with the following physical properties:a. Manufacturers / Product: Arriscraft International; Renaissance Masonry Units SandDrift.3. Special Shapes: Provide special shapes, as detailed, for corners, jambs, control joints, headers, bonding, and other special conditions.D. Reinforcement and Flashing Components:a.Furnish and put in place horizontal reinforcement for all masonry partitions and walls as hereinafter described. b.The concrete hollow block walls shall be laid, and cells filled with cement mortar consisting of 1 part Portland cement and 3parts sand by volume. They shall be reinforced with round deformed bars, 10mm diameter, spaced not more than 0.08m on centres, both waysE. Reinforced Unit Masonry:1. Drawings describe location of Reinforced Unit Masonry. See structural notes for size and placing of reinforcing steel.F. LAYING OF MASONRYa.All work must be carried up with course plumb, straight and true, with courses level from one and to the other.b.Chb must level all walls for bearing by rod heights to receive joists, beams, columns, girders, etc., with blocking. Rods must be used at least every 3m in length of bearing walls and at beams.c.All exposed joints generally shall be concave joints which shall be accompanied with a tool suitable for the purposeG. SITE CURING AND PROTECTION OF CONCRETE UNITSa.All concrete block masonry units, including both sand- gravel and stone aggregate blocks and insulating concrete block, shall be cured and protected at the site hereinafter described.b.All units shall be brought to the job site and stored thereon for not less than 28 days before they are incorporated in the construction. Such storage shall be arranged in a manner as to keep the blocks dry, either by tarpaulin or shed roof or combination of same, and blocks shall be stored off of the ground by means of planks and skids. Blocks stored in contact with the ground shall not be used. Storage shall provide for reasonable amount of natural ventilation.

DIVISION 7 THERMAL AND MOISTURE PROTECTIONSECTION 07 13 26 SELF-ADHERING SHEET WATERPROOFINGThe underside of all concrete slabs on earth shall have been laid on polyethylene polypropylene fiber waterproof membrane 0.004 inch thick.A.Any portion of the foundation that is below earth grade or grade level shall be given a hot tar coating in the following manner.B. One hot tar coating shall be mopped or spread on and be given at least 8 hours for setting time. The second coat shall be applied immediately thereafter. HydroTech MM6125EV applied in two coats, with a layer of fabric reinforcement between layers, to a thickness of 215 milsC. Paver Supports: Paver manufacturer's standard SBR rubber, high-density polyethylene,or polyurethane paver support assembly, including fixed-height pedestals, shims, and spacer tabs for joint spacing of 1/8 to 3/16 inch.SECTION 07 61 00 SHEET METAL ROOFING Stile roof Brand : JACINTO COLOR STEEL Strap cut: (1/4 dia) GI rivets and Gauge No. 26 plain GISpandrel: jacinto color steel 0.40 mm thicknessThe roof shall be covered with stile roof pre pointed roofing sheets as sown in the plans. The roofing sheets shall be secured to the purlins with 6mm dia. (1/4 dia) GI rivets and Gauge No. 26 plain GI straps cut long enough for bending around he specified size or purlins. The straps shall each be at least 25 mm wide with corners chipped off at the riveting ends.Ridge rolls, hip rolls and valleys to be used shall be those compatible with the stile roof pre painted ling span roofing sheets. They shall lap the roofing sheets at least 250mm. the ridge rolls, hip rolls and valleys shall be riveted to the roofing sheets, in addition to the rivets engaging the GI straps in securing the roofing sheets to the purlins.All roofing sheets adjacent to concrete hollow block, shall be provided with gauge no.26 plain GI flashing to extend up to the top and over to the other side of the wall. All rivets shall be placed at the top of the corrugations of the roofing sheets to prevent water from standing around the rivets.

SECTION 07 62 00 SHEET METAL FLASHING AND TRIMSection includes parapet coping, gravel stops, downspouts, splashguards, counter flashings, reglets and flashing at masonry.A.
