Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Sharing our talents arises from the fact that God has given
each of us the ability and gifts to do certain things well,
and we are to develop those talents for the good of others.
The custom of spending an hour with Jesus in the Blessed
Sacrament arose from the desire of devout souls to give an
affirmative answer to the sorrowful question of the Savior
in Gethsemane, Could ye not watch with me one hour?
Divine Mercy ministry offers us the opportunity to share
an hour of watch. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is
a quiet, reflective, and prayerful hour, Friday’s, 8:00 a.m. –
5:00 p.m., at OLMC Church, and Wednesday’s 9:00 a.m.-
11:00 noon, at SSPP. Divine Mercy Holy Hour is the
second Friday of the month from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call Barbara at for more information.

Dedication to our Seminarians
Heavenly Father, You have called my son to be a priest
and he has generously responded to that call. I pray that
he will be ever faithful in this new state and happy with the
way of life lying ahead for him. Help me to be ever ready
to render my assistance whenever and however it may be
needed. Let me always remember that it is an honor to
give one’s son to You who gave him to us in the first place.
Amen.
Pray for our Parish Seminarians and those continuing to
discern their vocation; Andres Trujillo, Joseph Magoffe,
Joel Langsfeld, James DeOreo and Brian Aerts, as they
prepare for a lifetime of service in the Church.

Archdiocese of Santa Fe - Sacramental Marriage
Finding Love and Life in the Divine Plan to promote the Sacrament of Marriage
All married couples should learn the art of battle as they
should learn the art of making love. Good battle is
objective and honest—never vicious or cruel. Good battle
is healthy and constructive, and brings to a marriage the
principle of equal partnership. –Ann Landers

October Reflection
Dear Lord, I can’t find the right words. Can you please just listen through my heart?

You Did It for Me “I live off my Social Security. The amount is so low that some months I don’t have enough money, and I have to decide between electricity or food,” says Irma, a retired service provider in the South Valley. “Luckily, I go once a month to a Mobile Food Pantry put on by Catholic Charities. The food is a blessing, and the volunteers are so kind.” If you would like to volunteer or learn more about a Mobile Food Pantry, contact Kathy Freeze with the Center for Community Involvement at (505) 724-4694 to learn more.
