Possible solutions…

• Bring a diverse group of people into CMMAP and let them explore.

– High School Students• 2 week summer camp• Introduce them to CMMAP research and CSU.

– High School Teachers• Teacher workshop• Teacher’s participate in CMMAP research

– Community College students• 2 week internship during the winter session to take part in CMMAP research

Possible solutions…

– Summer Undergraduate Interns• Currently doing this and plan on expanding the program.

Working with SOARS and their interns.

– CSU Undergraduates• Work with LSAMP to get students from underrepresented

groups. Participate in an independent study with CMMAP faculty.

– Faculty/graduate students• Faculty and their graduate students from MSIs collaborate

with CMMAP faculty at CSU and partner institutions.
