sessions are planned and executed by Teach For America staff members. However, this opportunity was presented by a staff member and Quincy and I

accepted as we understand—as growing stakeholders in this work—the need to foster a safe communal

space where uncomfortable conversations are welcomed to deepen our collective and individual

critical consciousness.
