Austria’s explosive percussion group LOUIE’S CAGE PERCUSSION is becoming a global phenomenon. In just one week their Facebook Live rehearsal video went viral with 130 million views and growing.
This diversely talented six piece combines musical performance, acting, dancing, singing and comedy all in one show. A few of the youngest mem-bers are of renowned Austrian orchestras including the Vienna Volksopera, the Lower Austria Tonkuenstler Orchestra, and the
Graz Opera. Louie’s Cage Percussion’s stunning live perfor-mance leaves the audience with open mouths and standing ovations. Not only are they playing percussion and mallet instruments, but they also fill the room with moving ymelody as they play synthesizers, guitar and tuba. Their music ranges from clas-sical, jazz, drum n’ bass, and electronica to a TV series med-ley played on boomwhackers (colored plastic tubes).
