General Law and Order
The District Kanshiram Nagar is quiet peaceful with no records of any major break
down of Law and Order. It was formerly part of district Etah.
The remote areas of Tehsil patiyali spans most of the ganga katari area and was
dacoits-infested earlier, but now-a-days it is very normal due to developement of roads
and location of new Bastis etc.
Political acridity is very high in Assembly Constitueny of Patiyali. This area is
very sensitive due to in-fighting over small issues. Ganjdundwara is most sensitive area
due to communal acridity. Over than hundred persons were killed in BABARI MASZID
sectarian riots in 1990 in Ganjdundwara town area. No major incidents of such kind have
been recently recorded in the district since then.
