1 POLL EVERYWHERE A GREAT SUCCESS! DISTRICT 9500 ROTARY EDUCATION NEWS JUNE 2016 SOME COMMENTS TO CHALLENGE US…. The most common question I am asked by Rotarians as they look to attract young members is ‘where can we look to find them’. My response is that the young people you should be looking to invite to join your clubs are not somewhere ‘out there’ – in fact, you probably already know them! Michael McQueen rotary9830.org.au/.../EngagingNextGenerationByMichaelMcQueen.pdf "If Rotary is to realize its proper destiny, it must be evolutionary at all times, revolutionary on occasions" Paul Harris Is YOUR Club VIBRANT? Test it against Be a Vibrant Club available on the RI Website One of the great successes of Leading Rotary Now was Poll Everywhere! Poll Everywhere enables responses from an audience or seminar group to be displayed on a screen for all to see almost immediately. Can we have a copy of the responses? There are great ideas there! This was the call from around the room after a session! So how can clubs use it? Collect anonymous responses at a Club Assembly Use it for Club planning Get questions for a Guest Speaker Have a quick poll about your meeting venue Enable everyone to vote without fear of worrying about what others think when voting on an important Club issue…and so much more How much does it cost? Presenters: It is a FREE app that can be downloaded to your smart phone Audience: All you need is a smart phone and the ability to text or put an address in your browser! Revitalize your Club and get great feedback at the same time! Surprise your children and grandchildren with your knowledge! Have fun!
