1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This report presents the work that Greenovate! Europe as a leader of WP8 Dissemination

and Exploitation has undertaken in the first 3 months of the project. The complete visual

identity with logos and templates in PowerPoint and Word formats has been developed, a

set of Written and Visual Identity Guidelines has also been produced to enable the proper

use of the material by all partners. In addition, a standard PPT describing the project, as well

as a one page project description in line with the visual identity has been developed. The

FLAOTGEN website is also ready to go online at www.floatgen.eu. The homepage and

navigation structure is up and running on a hidden link, and the content is being currently

validated by G!E and the consortium.

3. VISUAL IDENTITY AND TEMPLATES

The visual identity of FLOATGEN has been developed comprising of a logo and style in

different formats. These will be applied consistently to all communication material by all the

partners. They are in line with the FP7 visual guidelines.

3.1 THE LOGO

The process of logo development was undertaken right at the beginning of the project.

Considerations included having a logo that is visually appealing, professional looking and not

too complex. The elements of deep offshore and floating are represented by the waves

which are prominent in the logo, the colour blue which is associated with water, while the

turbine indicates wind energy floating on the waves. The word FLOATGEN is clearly displayed

and is embedded in the logo.

The logo in its basic form is in blue, but there are also the black and white, greyscale and

inverted white versions of it available, to be used in case needed.

3.3 THE POWERPOINT TEMPLATE

Presentations will be one of the key communication methods used by the FLOATGEN

consortium to promote and explain the project to outside audiences. To this end, a

PowerPoint template has been developed to ensure that the visual identity of the project is

maintained in this context. The PowerPoint template defines two types of slides, a title slide

to come at the beginning and a main slide to be used throughout the rest of the

presentation.

4. WRITTEN AND VISUAL IDENTITY GUIDELINES

A set of guidelines for the written and visual identity have been produced in order to ensure

their consistent use by the entire consortium.

The guidelines cover the written identity of the project, the visual identity and its

applications.

The guidelines have been produced in an e-version and distributed to the consortium as pdf.

The document is an internal document for the consortium.

The Written and Visual Identity Guidelines are pasted in the pages below.


5. STANDARD DISSEMINATION MATERIAL

5.1 ONE PAGE PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A standard one page project description has been produced.


5.2 STANDARD POWERPOINT PRESENTATION

A standard PowerPoint presentation has been produced.


In the coming months (M6) a leaflet, a roll up banner and a second version of the

PowerPoint presentation which will present the project in more detail will be produced.

6. WEBSITE

The website www.floatgen.eu which is currently under validation by the consortium before

going publicly online also utilised the visual identity to the fullest extent. Below is a

screenshot of the landing page.
