Introduction

• SAP Dispute Management is part of SAP Financial Supply Chain

Management

• SAP Dispute Management provides functions for processingreceivables-related dispute cases

• It supplements the following logistical process chains in the stagebetween invoice and payment if there are discrepancies with thecustomer:

• It supplements the logistics process chain Purchase order – >Delivery -> Invoice ->Payment in the stage between invoice and

payment if there are discrepancies with the customer.

Basic Configuration – Standard RMS ID

With Records Management System (RMS), define the areas that are

visible in Dispute Case Processing of SAP Dispute Management, there

can be more than one work area however there is not cross-RMS search

for dispute cases in Dispute Case processing. In addition, disputes cases

can not be used or other elements of an RMS as linked objects in dispute

case for another RMS.

SAP Dispute Management delivers an RMS: UDM_DISPUTE which can

be used or created own. Usually, it makes sense and reduce the efforts

required In configuring the application if use the RMS: UDM_DISPUTE

delivered.In the most cases SAP recommends to use just only RMS. If you want to

use element types of the standard delivery you must use RMS
