The Purpose of Today
• The aims of the network:• To provide support and mentoring to teaching fellows across the
university to develop scholarly activity and to provide a mechanism to allow additional interdepartmental scholarship activity.
• It will also provide a forum for advice and support on probation and promotion activity for teaching fellows.
• It could act as a voice to represent the views of Teachings Fellows at University level.

• List of emails from HR of all with majority teaching contracts (630 people)– Many were PGR Markers etc
• 1st Email Sent Out 15th Jan 2014• Within 24 Hrs 65 Registrations• To Date 110 Registrations• 55% picked 26/3 as date of first meeting• 45% confirmed attendance
