A cooler and drier air mass is invading the regionas a result. The dew point temperature has fallen into the upper 50sthis afternoon, down from the upper 60's of this morning prior to thefrontal passage. The high temperature has only reached the upper 70stoday.Only a rumble of thunder was observed yesterday ahead of the front. Noprecipitation fell on the summit in association with the front.
