INTRODUCTION A flexible and varied week In magnificient Amalfi Coast, Benevento and Bay of Naples areaa. This travel can include more cycling possibilities : short and easier route and a longer or more demanding route for the keener cyclists, walking and culinary excursions. The trip start at the Naples Airport (or railway station) where our company will meet and accompany the customers to the farm in Agerola (Amalfi Coast) for accommodation. Amalfi Coast, It was an extremely important maritime republic and it holds some of the world’s most famous monuments and an amazing landscape. We will have daily excursion by bike along the scenic roads of this coast. The stay will continue with excursions along villages of Amalfi Coast, the visit at Pompeii archaeological site, the famous island of Capri, Sorrento, and bay of Naples with visit of the small town of Pozzuoli, everyday will have lunch and dinners in with local restaurants with traditional products. Normally the journey is enriched by the presence of Mr. Jerry that with his knowledge of people and territories will help you to have an unforgettable experience. Breakfasts, dinners and last lunch are included and made by local typical and natural products.

This wonderful tour experience is available all year and is cutomed-planned for every season.

The world heritage sites of Amalfi Coast

DAY 1 : TRANSFER TO AMALFI COAST AND SMALL EXCURSION Transfer from the airport or railway station by van to Agerola in Amalfi Coast where We will have accommodation at B&B Farmhouse We can have 2 solutions :

- If the accommodation will be arranged in the morning we will have lunch at Farmhouse and in the afternoon we will have first small bike excursion in Agerola and to the panoramic places of this area, included the “painted” land of ‘Furore’ and his monument dedicated to Fausto Coppi.

- If the accommodation will be arranged in the afternoon we will have small walking excursion to the panoramic places of Amalfi coast.

Dinner at the Farm.

DAY 2 : AMALFI COAST EXPLORATION TO CETARA TOWN After the Breakfast we will have small workshop with illustration of all details of Amalfi Coast cycling excursion to Cetara direction. After the workshop we will be transferred by van to Amalfi and we will start our cycling excursion to Minori, Maiori and Cetara (and back by bike) The distance of this excursion is 11 miles (x2) along hill roads. We will ride slowly (8km/h) and will enjoy the landscape and the colors of this coast. In Cetara we will have lunch in local restaurants where will eat touristic menu with tasting of local products. In Cetara will be possible taste the ‘colatura di alici’ (dripped anchovies) . At the end of the lunch , we can taste ice cream, Italian Gelato, and go to the beach for swim and / or sunbathe. At the end of excursion we come back to Amalfi by bike and will have transfer to B&B Farmhouse in Agerola. Amalfi will be start and arrival point of our excursions, in the same place at the end of the day we will pick up our bicycles and customers and will transfer by van to the B&B Farmhouse in Agerola where we will have dinner and sleep.

DAY 3 : AMALFI COAST EXPLORATION TO POSITANO

After the Breakfast we will have small workshop with illustration of all details of Amalfi Coast cycling excursion to Positano direction. After the workshop we will be transferred by van to Amalfi and we will start our cycling excursion to Transfer to Amalfi, riding to Conca dei Marini, Furore, Praiano and Positano (and back by bike). The distance of this excursion is 11 miles (x2) along hill roads. We will ride slowly (8km/h) and will enjoy the landscape and the colors of this coast. In Positano we will have lunch in local restaurants where will eat touristic menu with tasting of local products. At the end of the lunch , we can taste ice cream, Italian Gelato, and go to the beach for swim and / or sunbathe. At the end of excursion we come back to Amalfi by bike and will have transfer to B&B Farmhouse in Agerola. Amalfi will be start and arrival point of our excursions, in the same place at the end of the day we will pick up our bicycles and customers and will transfer by van to the B&B Farmhouse in Agerola where we will have dinner and sleep.

DAY 4 : FAMOUS ISLAND OF CAPRI

In the morning we will be transferred from Agerola to Amalfi where we will take a boat to Capri Island (50' navigation – departure 9.15). About Capri excursion we suggest some solutions : the first can be rent a scooter and ride on the island (in this mode you can see in a few hours the most famous places of this island), the second can be pick up bikes on the ferry and ride by bike on the island (the routes are hard), the third can be arrange the tour of island by boat included the visit to the Grotta Azzurra. We will have lunch in Capri at local restaurant or pizzeria with touristic menu and in the end of day we will retour by ferry to Amalfi, the departure is programmed around 5pm from the same port of arrival. From Amalfi we will be transferred to B&B Farmhouse in Agerola where we will have dinner.

DAY 5 : POMPEII ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXCURSION and WALKING TO THE CRATER OF VESUVIUS Departure by minivan from Agerola to Pompeii. (12,5miles) In the archeological site we can ride with bikes of superintendence along special paths for cyclists included in Pompeii site (that include the possibility to lock bikes and continue normal walking visit in traditional Archaeological site) or in alternative have traditional walking excursion in whole archaeological site. At the end of the visit we will leave to the local restaurant in Vesuvius area where we will eat touristic menu with local products. At the end of lunch we can go to the National park of Vesuvius volcano where we can stop the van at the park with altitude 1000 meters above sea level and will walking to the crater along authorized paths of National Park.

DAY 6 : WINE ROADS AND FARMHOUSE From Agerola We will go with our minivan to the wine roads of San Salvatore Telesino in Benevento Area. (Transfer : 1,5 hours by minivan) The day start with the transfer by van to San Salvatore Telesino where we will start our bike excursion with the visit at Grassano’s Park. In this place you can drink water from the source (8,000lt/sec). From Grassano Park we will leave to Benedictine Abbey (original from 217 a.C.) where we have a guided historical tour of this nice Abbey. (the opening of Abbey is arranged only for us by local culture association) After guided tour we leave by bicycle along wine roads to local farm where we will visit all steps of production cycle of Mozzarella. After the tour of farmhouse activities we will have lunch with local typical products produced exclusively by the farmer (various kinds of cold meats and salami, natural yougurt, cheeses and vegetables). After the visit we will have relax in the vineyard. We close this excursion with the visit at the Telese Bath for drinking a glass of the famous sulphurous, calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate water of Telese Bath. The natural mineral water “Telese”has a typical and unique odor, is a well-liked drink with a sparkling taste, due to carbon dioxide. Rich in mineral salts it is know to regulate the salt and watr balance in the body. It is recommended for chronic gastritis and for costipations. This water can be used in aerosol it has decongestant and normalizing proprieties for inflammations of the upper respiratory tract. Applied to the skyn has a normalizing and quenching effects in most skin deseases/problems.

The work of the farmer…

At the end of lunch, we will have relax moment under the plants of wineyard. At the end of the day we will transfer our customers to B&B Farmhouse in Agerola.

DAY 7 : SORRENTO In the first hours of the morning we will be transferred by van to the center of Sorrento where we will have a bike tour along the roads of this small town and surrounding area of the coast and inside the historical center with his ancient buildings and churchs. We will eat the lunch at local restaurant local products with touristic menu and at the end of the day our company will transfer the tourists to the Farmhouse in Agerola.

DAY 8 : Transfer to Airport or Railway Station After the breakfast, leave-taking and transfer to Naples Airport or Railway station.
