The Hair Completer has 2 iontophoresis programmes, one programme to promote hair growth and one programme to increase hair vitality. In all programmes you can choose between 3 intensity levels.

6. Treatment head

Sonic Micro Circulations are transferred to the scalp through flexible fibres made of medical-grade silicone.

7. Conductive fibres

The IONTO-SONIC HAIR GROWTH & CARE TECHNOLOGY® is transferred to the scalp through special conductive fibres that are made of the innovative Ionto-FLEX material. The (black) conductive fibres act as a flexible treatment electrode. Together with the hand electrode that is integrated in the back shell, they ensure the current flow through the body that is required for the iontophoresis.

8. Hand electrode

Conductive metal stripe that is integrated in the back shell.

9. Stand-by indicator

If a programme is interrupted, the device switches to stand-by mode. The activation is displayed by 3 mini LEDs blinking continuously from left to right. After the programme is re-started, the intensity LEDs show the originally set intensity again.

10. Display of battery status

The battery status is displayed by the mini LED that is located in the middle of the large multi-functional button.

11. Mini USB slot

The Hair Completer´s battery can be recharged via the USB cable that is supplied as part of the technical accessories. Either the cable is connected to a computer to recharge or it is connected with the power adapter that is also supplied with the device.

12. Connectors

The Hair Completer can be also recharged by means of the in-built connectors and a special charging stand that is not supplied with every device set.

TREATMENT ADVICES

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

You can move the HAIR COMPLETER over the scalp without any particular pressure. But make always sure that the bristles of the treatment head are fully in contact with the scalp!

Ensure there is always a sufficient amount of the treatment product under the conductive bristles (= flexible treatment electrode) of the Hair Completer. If the serum is rapidly absorbed on some places, apply more serum. Avoid dry scalp areas during the treatment.

Use the "medium" intensity level as the maximal setting for the treatments of your scalp during the first few weeks.

If your scalp reacts to treatments, seek medical advice as a precaution.

Both BYAS hair serums are so-called "leave-on" products. This means the serum stays on the scalp after the treatment, it will not be washed off. It is therefore recommend to always carry out the treatment in the evening. This allows the serum to continue working overnight. Simply put on a soft headscarf or a towel around your hair after the treatment to protect it for the night!

Please observe the following advices when you carry out a treatment with the BYAS Hair Completer.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

The bristle head and the device´s shell can resist water splashes. Both, the bristle head and the device´s shell, can be directly put under running tap water and cleaned.

However: There´s no protection against complete water submersion, i.e. the device cannot be used during a shower or under water in the bath tube, neither of the bristle head nor of the whole device.

GROWTH PROGRAMMEFOLLICLE REACTIVATING AND HAIR GROWTH PROMOTING EFFECT

As we get older, the length of the anagen phase decreases due to various influences:

Free radicals - external factorEnvironmental toxins, smoking, alcohol consumption and mental stress lead to the formation of free radicals. As a consequence, not only is the hair follicles´ anagenic growth phase shortened, they are also pushed into the telogenic resting phase. The hair becomes weaker and thinner after each growth cycle. It does not grow so much and falls out much faster.

DHT - body's own factorThe androgen DHT (dihydrotestosterone) forms during the conversion of the hormone testosterone. If DHT docks on the hair follicles, the growth phase of the follicles is shortened and the resting phase is extended. The follicles shrink until they stop producing new hair. Hair that re-grows gets thinner and thinner. Even women suffer from the harmful DHT effect during hormonal balance changes, like for example the menopause.

With the Hair Completer, highly effective active ingredients are channelled into the scalp´s deeper layers where the hair follicles are located. Here, they develop their hair growth promoting and reactivating effect.

The anagen phase is extended again. The hair follicles are reactivated. With each growth cycle new hair will grow stronger, fuller and healthier.

Iontophoresis

Application duration: 7 minutes

Direction of movement:

Ensure there is always a sufficient amount of the treatment product you use under the conductive bristles (= flexible treatment electrode) of the Hair Completer. If necessary, increase the amount used.

INGREDIENTS: IONTO-SONIC HAIR GROWTH SERUMAqua / Water, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Phenoxyethanol, Tocopheryl Acetate, PEG-35 Castor Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Biotin, Pyridoxine HCL, Ethylhexylglycerin, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Retinyl Palmitate, Serenoa Serrulata Fruit Extract, Disodium EDTA, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Sodium Oleate, Sodium Benzoate, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Decapeptide-4, Tocopherol, Copper Tripeptide-1, Sh-Polypeptide-9.

1. Brush your hair and make a vertex. Start with the centre vertex.

2. Hold the dispenser directly over the scalp exposed by the vertex.

3. Apply 1-2 dispenser strokes of the IONTO-SONIC HAIR GROWTH SERUM per contact point. Keep three to four even spaces, from the front of the hairline to the back of the head.

4. After applying, slightly rub the serum with a finger along the vertex.

5. Switch on the Hair Completer using the large button at the bottom of the device´s front. To switch on the device keep the button pressed for around 2 seconds.

6. Default setting: iontophoresis programme GROWTH with intensity LOW.

7. Press the small button above until you have set the required intensity level for the treatment. Left mini LED + middle mini LED = medium, plus right mini LED = high.

8. Press the large button again shortly to start the programme. The integrated time starts to count backwards.

9. Use the HAIR COMPLETER like a hairbrush. Put the device on the head and move it along each vertex, from the front of the hairline to the back of the head.

10. While moving along each vertex, massage the scalp with small circular movements to distribute the serum evenly.

11. Once you finished the partial treatment on the centre vertex, continue by making another vertex and repeat the procedure.

12. It is recommended that the whole 7-minute treatment encompasses at least 3 partial treatments (centre vertex + vertex on left and right side of the head).

13. When you change from one vertex to the next, you can interrupt the treatment by pressing the large button again. You restart the treatment in the same way.

14. During the treatment, a short acoustic signal sounds for every 1 minute. At end of each programme, three short acoustic signals sound.

15. If the preset treatment time is over, the device switches automatically to stand-by mode.

16. To switch off the Hair Completer, press the large button until the display goes out.

17. Allow surplus serum that might still be on the scalp´s surface to be absorbed.

18. Do not wash the hair after the treatment! Simply put on a soft headscarf or a towel around your hair after the treatment to protect it for the night!

19. Clean the bristles and the bristle head carefully under lukewarm running tap water. At the end, wipe off remaining water splashes.

CARE PROGRAMMEHAIR REVITALIZING, THICKENING AND INVIGORATING EFFECT

With the Hair Completer, highly effective revitalizing, thickening and invigorating active ingredients are channelled into the scalp´s deeper layers.

The build-up of collagen is promoted, keeping the hair sheath soft and supple. This allows the hair to root more deeply in the scalp. Overall, the hair becomes much stronger, thicker and thus "durable".

The walls of the small blood vessels in the scalp are strengthened particularly. This increases the blood circulation and especially the microcapillary blood flow to the hair follicles. In this way, an improved supply of the hair follicles with nutrients, oxygen and blood is made possible. The growth of healthy, strong and thick hair is promoted.

Special "adhesive proteins" are strengthened at the connection between the hair and the hair root. The hair´s anchoring power is increased and thus their shedding prevented.

The loss of moisture from the hair is reduced and its tensile properties improved. The hair fibers are kept elastic and resistant and their breakage is prevented.

If you carry out treatments with the Hair Completer at other persons, please note the following procedure in any case:

1. Establish skin contact with one hand to the person to be treated. Only in this way the current flow is guaranteed that is required for iontophoresis treatments.

2. It can be adviseable to put a well moistened cotton pad under your fingers/hand to protect yourself and the person to be treated from redness that could occur on the skin through the current flow.

3. Use maximally intensity level MEDIUM.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• at persons who wear a cardiac pacemaker or an ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator).

• at persons with metal-containing intrauterine pessaries (coil) or with metallic implants in the area of the current flow or permanent fillers in the treatment area.

• at persons with a thyroid hyperfunction, in the front neck and chest area.

• at persons with multiple sclerosis.

• at persons who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• at persons on or in the area of a diseased (malignant) or operated part of the skin in the treatment area.

• at persons who currently have serious diseases, e.g. heart disease.

• at persons who have a weakened immune system, or who have immunosuppressing diseases or take immunosuppressors.

• at persons who have symptoms on the scalp, which are not suitable for treatment, e.g. wounds, psoriasis, eczema or rashes.

• at persons who have had surgery, laser treatment or deep-action chemical peeling in the treatment area within the past 3 months or the consequences of such interventions have not yet completely receded.

• Under 18 years.

Only you know your own personal health history. Use of the Hair Completer and the BYAS Ionto-Sonic Special Hair Care Products is therefore your own personal responsibility. If you are uncertain about their use or side effects, please always seek medical advice.

The BYAS Hair Completer may not be used in certain cases (applies if you use the Hair Completer yourself and if you carry out treatments with the Hair Completer at other persons).

To use the Hair Completer properly, please note the following important instructions.

WARNINGS AND USAGE ADVICES

• Before using the Hair Completer, remove all metallic jewellery (ear rings, rings, piercings, etc.).

• The Hair Completer should not be used near shortwave and microwave therapy devices or mobile high-frequency devices (e.g. mobile phones), as these can cause fluctuations in the output values. The distance should be at least 1 meter.

• Only use the special ionized BYAS products for treatments with the Hair Completer. Both the device and the products are specifically matched to each other. It is not possible to achieve comparable effects with other, products (cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, etc.), which are not specifically ionized.

• Ensure that there is always sufficient serum or gel on the scalp to be treated with the Hair Completer´s conductive fibers to avoid possible irritations. Increase the quantity used, if necessary and especially if you have sensitive skin.

• The special ionized BYAS products are solely intended for external use on the scalp.

• Keep the Hair Completer and the special ionized BYAS products out of reach of children. Store them below 25° C and in a dry place.

• If your scalp reacts to applications, it is your personal responsibility to seek medical advice as a precaution.

• The Hair Completer treatment head is waterproof (IP level 5). It can resist water being splashed on it. However, there is no protection against complete water submersion.

• The treatment can be hold directly under running water to clean the bristles. The Hair Completer must be always completely switched off during cleaning. A mild surfactant can also be used for cleaning, but no aggressive or chemical cleaning agents.

• Do not use the Hair Completer while the battery is charging.

• Service work may only be carried out by authorized persons or companies.

• Do not start charging the device until the re-chargeable battery is fully discharged.

• The battery status is displayed by the mini LED that is located in the middle of the large multi-functional button.

• 100 % - 21 %: mini LED light constant “on”.

• 20 % - 0 %: mini LED light “on”, the color turns from white standard color to red light.

• Re-charging can be carried out via the mini-USB slot located at the device´s bottom end.

• Connect the USB cable supplied with the device with the mini USB plug and power adapter (standard USB plug) that is supplied with the device as well to re-charge the battery.

• The battery´s re-charging status is also displayed by the mini LED that is located in the middle of the large multi-functional button.

• 0 % - 20 %: the mini LED light is blinking in fast intervals with red light.

• 21 % - 80 %: the mini LED light is blinking in slow intervals with standard light.

• 81 % - 100 %: the mini LED light is constantly “on” again with standard light.
