2.Minimaljewelry,particularlyaroundhands,wristsandneck.

3.Cleanworkclothes,washedregularly,shortsleevestops arebestaslongsleevecanbecomecontaminated,causing crossinfectionswhentouchingclients.

4.Handsmustbewashedbeforeandaftertreatingeachclient andafterhandlingfood,usingthetoilet,handlingmoney etc.Usesoap,preferablyliquiddispensers.

5.Anycutsorabrasionsshouldbecoveredwithwaterproof dressing.

6.Regularbathingorshoweringtoremovedirtfromhands, armsetc,andalsotopreventbodyodour.

7.Thegreatestriskofcross-infectionoccurswhentheskin iscutorpiercedandtheequipmentusedforthisMUSTbe alwayskeptsterile.

8.Worksurfacesneedtobedisinfectedwithachemical disinfectantsuchasbleach;floorsneedcleaningwith detergentandhotwater.

髮廊每位工作人員都必須注重個人衛生和清潔,這樣為顧客服務時才可保持衛生,同時確保作業方式符合優良的衛生標準。以下是髮廊應採用的衛生指引:

1.指甲應經常剪理,長髮應束起。

2.避免佩戴太多飾物,特別是手部、腕部和頸部。

3.工作服必須清潔及經常洗熨,短袖上裝最佳,因為長袖容 易沾污,接觸顧客可能引起交叉感染。

4.處理每位顧客的頭髮前後均需洗手,接觸食物、如廁及接 觸鈔票硬幣後亦需洗手,可使用肥皂清潔,不過最好是使 用洗手液機。

5.割傷或磨損傷口應用防水膠布包好。

6.經常沐浴或淋浴清除手部及臂部等的污垢,以及防止體臭。

7.皮膚被割傷或刺傷時最易交叉感染,因此髮廊所有這類設 備必須經常消毒。

8.工作檯表面應用漂白水或其他化學劑消毒,地板用潔劑和 熱水保持清潔。

Colour rinses.Thesecoloursrestonthehairssurface,areappliedaftereachshampooandlastuntilthenextshampoo.Usedasatemporarymethodofcoveringgreyhairbetweenpermanentcolouring,ortoenhanceexistingcoloursfromfading.

semi-permanent colourLongerlasting:uptoaboutsixto8weeks.Thesepenetratetheoutercuticleofthehair.Thecoloursproducedaremorenatural.Theycannotofferanyliftofshade,andareusedmainlytocovergreyhair,temporarilydarkenlightershades,orenhanceanexistingshadetogivemoredepthandshine.

Permanent dyesTheseareoftenknownasOxidationdyesbecauseanoxidizer[HydrogenPeroxide]andAmmoniaaremixedwiththecolouringagentpriortoapplication.Theformulationofpermanentdyesisextremelycomplicated,andmanufacturersgotogreatlengthstoattaincolourfastnessandminimumdisruptionofthehair’sstrengthandelasticity.

Permanentdyescanofferbothlighteranddarkershadesofyourownhaircolour.

Bleaching and highlighting.Bleachingdoesnotaddcolourbutremovesit.Theoxidizingeffectdecolorizesthepigmentinthehairshaftandlightensthecolour.Bleachingisrarelyusedonitsownbecauseitdoesnotgiveanaturalshade,sovariouscolouragentsareaddedtoreducebrassinessandgivetherequiredshade.

自然染髮劑

許多民族數百年來也用指甲花、洋甘菊、木藍和多種其他草本

植物作為染髮劑。1980年代初可將頭髮染成紅色或黑色的指

甲花大行其道,但如要達到理想的着色效果,必須重複染多次

讓色素累積。

一次性染髮劑

這類染髮劑留在髮絲表面,每次洗髮時塗上,下次洗髮便會脫

落,可與永久性染髮劑間替使用,暫時遮蓋白髮,或使染過的

髮色更亮澤。

半永久性染髮劑

較持久的染髮劑:效果可維持6至8個星期。這類染髮劑滲透髮

絲的外角質層,色澤較為自然,主要用於遮蓋白髮、暫時染深

淺色頭髮或令染過的髮色更亮澤富深度。

永久性染髮劑

這類產品一般稱為氧化染髮劑,因為除了着色素外,使用前還

要混和氧化劑(雙氧水)及阿蒙尼亞。

永久性染髮劑的配方非常複雜,製造商盡其所能令髮色不褪脫

和避免破壞髮絲強度與彈性。使用永久性染髮劑,可隨意令自

然髮色變深或變淺。

PioneeredinBrazil,theBrazilianKeratinTreatmentissaidtobeabletobeperformedonalltypesofchemicallytreatedhair.Thesystemissaidtoeliminatenaturalfrizz,unrulycurlsorwaveswhilstretainingthehairsnaturalbody,unlikeothertreatmentssuchastheJapaneseYukoSystem.ThetechniqueoftheapplicationissimilartotheYukoSystem:straighteningironsorHairdryersareusedtosealtheproductintothehaircuticle.Itdoesnothavetheproblemofre-growthasthetreatmentgraduallywashesoutovertime.

Thesmallerkeratinmoleculespenetratethehaircorteximprovingandrepairingthequalityofthehairfromtheinside.Theaddedstrength,elasticityandmoistureresultinasmooth,soft,shinyandstraightenedeffect.ThelargermoleculescoatthehaircuticleandpreventenvironmentaldamagesuchasUVraysandpollutionforyourhairontheoutside.

Treatmentslastaround10–12weeksandrepeatingthetreatmenteveryfewmonthswillallowre-treatmentofthenewgrowth.Thetreatmenthoweverdoesnotallowonetowashthehairforupto72hours,orholdingthehairawayfromthefacewithhairclips,ponytailorbehindtheears.

巴西角蛋白直髮(又稱巴西直髮、角蛋白直髮或BKT)是短暫直髮技術,用液化角蛋白包封髮絲,有些產品會蘊含甲醛。

巴西角蛋白直髮技術是巴西首創,據說各類經化學處理的頭髮都適用。

這個系統據稱可令天然鬆散的髮質變得順滑,也可拉直不易梳理的大小卷髮,而有別於日本離子直髮,它保留頭髮的自然彈性。

巴西角蛋白直髮的做法跟日本離子直髮相似:用直髮夾或風筒將產品包封髮絲表面。由於每次洗髮化學劑會漸漸脫落,所以再生的髮絲不會有問題。

細小的角蛋白分子滲透頭髮的皮質層,由內至外改善和修護髮質,令頭髮更強韌、富彈性和潤滑,看來柔軟亮澤和順直。較大的分子可包裹髮絲表面,防止紫外光及污染等外在不良環境因素損害。

每次直髮可維持10-12個星期,每隔數月做一次可確保新生頭髮也得到處理,但每次剛做過直髮護理72小時不宜洗髮,亦不可將頭髮束起、夾起、梳起或翹到耳後。

1.When did you first realize you wanted to become a hair stylist and where did you start?A:從小時候已經很喜歡留意身邊漂亮的人和事。對於懂得打扮和髮

型設計的人更甚,基乎對髮型設計有此等強烈的感興,很快就令我將

興趣實踐於HairSalon的工作上。當時在中環商業中心地帶的Salon工作,每天為忙碌而又愛美的上班一族打理頭髮,已成為我生活的一個主

要環節。

2.What are the most requested styles in the salon at the moment?A:其實這要視乎個別Salon人客的品味及需求。在我現在工作的地方,

絕大部份的人客也會信賴我的專業意見,務求可以為他們打造一個既

合適又易於處理的髮型。

3. What are your predictions in hair/colour for this summer season?A:短的髮型加上PinkBrown或是CocoaBrown既顏色,將會是今個夏

天的主導髮型。

4.What do you think is more important, for a client to tell you, so that you can get their hairstyle right for them?A:當然工作上要取得平衡,但我作為一個專業的髮型師,係好應該讓

人客知道那個髮型最適合他自己的。

HAIRDRESSER INTERVIEWS:

髮型師: darrin Usher

1. 15歲時在西澳珀斯讀完中學第10班,爸爸有位朋友開髮廊,我很喜

歡那裡的氣氛,於是有天便問他怎樣能成為髮型師,就這樣開始了。

2. 很多顧客染髮和直髮。夏天快到了,由於天氣潮濕很多人要求做巴

西直髮,令髮絲更易梳理。Bob髮型也捲土重來,還變出多款較柔和的

新形象,幾何線條亦流行。

3. 今年夏季應以柔和為主,假如顧客想改變一下我們會建議深淺色或

多色染髮,可以是多幅深淺不一的顏色,亦可挑染多種顏色,間隔和

大小都不規則。

4. 香港是個多元文化城市,顧客的用詞不盡相同,所以有時溝通不太

容易。我認為髮型師不一定要顧客「告訴」他/她甚麼,而是要完全明

白和體會他們的需要。有推薦是最好的,顧客應盡量多問些問題,直

至感到放心為止。

5.歷來最愛?真難說。每個時裝年代都有代表的髮型,但我個人較喜

歡簡潔清爽的造型,所以我會選擇經典的層次Bob髮型吧,它可略為變

化,營造更完美的輪廓和清爽線條,也便於打理。

6. 剛才也說過很多顧客做直髮,所以KeratinComplex是現時我最喜

愛的產品之一,最適合這個潮濕炎熱的季節。處理短髮和有質感的髮

型我最愛用Fudge的MattHead或OsisDustIt,感覺很涼快。

7.我想會有兩種選擇:

假如我有繪畫天份我會當紋身師。

我也是汽車和電單車迷,所以也可能研究製造或改造汽車和電單車。

8. 過去10年:日本的Hiraki剪刀。我有幾把Hiraki,發覺重量、平衡度

和刀鋒都很好,品質優良。

9. 當髮型師最重要是學會聆聽顧客的說話,保持開放的心態。這其實

說易行難。溝通是您建立強大顧客基層的最好工具。

1. 媽媽說我小時候常用她的定型水為家中的貴婦狗理髮,將牠的毛卷

曲.....牠當了我的模特兒14年.....後來便發展到找兄弟和其他家人當訓

練對象。

2.時尚性感、容易梳理,經典到現代風格的髮型。洗髮後不用打理的

柔和卷髮/曲髮又再流行,在夏季潮濕炎熱的香港,我想許多女士也會

把頭髮盤起或束馬尾。現在七成女士也喜歡留長髮。長髮剪工和染色

不當,很容易顯年紀,看起來憔悴和不整潔。

3.我的靈感全來自荷里活.....紅地氈和頒獎典禮可看到業界最傑出髮型

師的代表作。

由於我也是化妝師,所以懂得以髮色配合時尚風格與面型,所以擁有

極大的優勢。選擇染髮色彩時,配襯眼睛顏色也很重要。

4.剪髮和染髮要達到最滿意的效果,諮詢程序是關鍵。我會花很多時

間跟每位顧客詳談。

1.用心聆聽,透徹了解他們的意願,多問些問題,直至完全明白。

2.問他們不想要甚麼。

3.問他們懂不懂得用風筒吹髮、用直髮夾或曲髮夾?

4.他們有多少時間。

5.假如是在職人士,問他們的職業和平常衣着要求,這可能對髮型有

重大的影響。

6.他們以往的髮型是甚麼和效果如何?

只有問清楚,才可以知道顧客想要甚麼,然後開始決定造型和長度。

5.我個人喜歡珍妮花安妮絲頓.....從Rachel髮型到現在都很漂亮,髮色

也是眾多女星中極好的。

6.我喜歡用Fudge的SaltWaterSpray.....它適合各類髮質,大大提高

豐盈度。

7. 心理學家,我愛研究人。

1. 大約7歲時我常為芭比玩偶弄不同的髮型,從那時開始我便知道自己

熱愛髮型設計。

2.最多人要求的髮型是類似Bob的短髮。

3. 短髮或中髮將是今夏的潮流,造型醒目而柔和,更顯個性。顏色則

以偏褐的大地調子為主。

4. 許多因素也很有關係,我想最重要是知道顧客每日願意花多少時間

打理髮型。髮型師設計的髮型不僅要配合顧客的面型和個人風格,還要

照顧他/她的造型習慣。多走這一步,便可為顧客提供更卓越的服務。

5. 每位髮型師各有最愛,我就喜歡洗髮後不用特別打理的髮型,這最

1. 您何時開始想當髮型師,最初怎樣入行?很早便有興趣,大概12歲左右吧,當時不知道自己會當髮型師,只想投身創作事業。我向來對科技和藝術很感興趣,兩者對我有啟發作用。我選擇當髮型師因為它結合了科技與藝術。

2. 現時最多顧客要求的髮型是甚麼?這個問題很有趣。我認為當時得令的名人或樂壇偶像就是潮流的指標,這是不變的定律。最受歡迎的電視明星對顧客的髮型喜惡有極大的影響,不同時間就有不同的趨向。我設計髮型時從不依着這個方向走。要為顧客創造最適合的髮型,關鍵在於盡量突顯他/她們的外貌優點。我會幫他/她們創造配合「最理想」體型、面型和髮型的形象。我也觀摩其他髮型師做的髮型,吸收了然後

花點腦筋,不斷為顧客帶來新變化。我發覺效果很好,因為我可以利用經驗和技巧為顧客服務,令我變得獨一無二,得到顧客的賞識。

3. 您預測今年夏季流行甚麼髮型/髮色?型格短髮。顧客想要令他/她們擁有漂亮自信的髮型,短髮其實可以混合長短不一的髮束,令整體效果更多元化,這樣便可長髮與短髮兩者兼得。至於髮色,我很高興看到濃艷色調再流行,但我只會局部使用這類顏色來強調某方面的剪髮造型。今季染髮還是以主色為本,但形象更嬌美-調和、流暢及飄逸。

4. 您認為顧客需要告訴您甚麼,才可做出好的髮型?其實該是相反,髮型師應告訴顧客甚麼或怎樣和他/她們溝通。髮型師和顧客眼中的對方可能很不同,所以先要找到同一波段,然後討論及辯論應怎樣處理髮型、有甚麼可行、有甚麼不可行。有時候髮型師必須說不,這顯出您的專業地位,可是一定要體諒顧客的感受。顧客通常分兩種:1)頭髮有問題,如髮絲過幼過薄想看來更豐盈,或髮質受損難以梳理;或2)想改變髮型但不知道應如何着手。顧客需要您提供主意、安撫和提供專業意見,告訴他/她們您認為甚麼可取甚麼不可取。

5. 我們最愛問髮型師,您本人最喜歡甚麼髮型?蜂窩髮型,因為任何角度都好看,也適合任何面型和髮質。頭髮向上梳有提升臉部的作用,令頸部看來更長,提升和露出顴骨。每年在全球各地的天橋時裝展都會看到這款髮型,只是版本不同,加點變化令它更時尚。

6. 哪一個國家的文化最能啟發您的髮型創作?我喜愛不同文化,因為不同的文化背景令人以不同的角度看髮型與美態。我特別喜歡非洲髮型文化,他們懂得利用圖案和質感營造形狀,跟其他文化很不同。我有很多關於非洲髮型的書,它們為我提供不少的靈感。頭髮就是頭髮,不管甚麼文化都一樣。不同種族的人,頭髮質感及外貌可能有些分別,而我們都喜歡找尋不同、新穎的方法處理和拿捏髮絲,這很有趣味。

7. 您現時最喜歡用甚麼產品?任何清爽而能滋潤頭髮的產品我都會用,我不喜歡頭髮上看得見的產品,我覺得這樣很老套過時。我歷來最愛是一款精華素,它適合任何髮質、長度和造型,任何髮型只要加一兩滴都會更好看,頭髮看起來更健康潤澤。

8. 假如當初不選擇當髮型師,會投身甚麼行業?攝影師、平面設計師或與藝術有關的工作。我喜愛不斷有變化的事業,最討厭刻板。最好是每天都感覺在學習新東西。

9. 您用哪個品牌的剪刀來剪髮和造型?我本身的品牌DCLondon。您可瀏覽網站www.damiencarney.com的介紹。我只用一種剪刀,我認為剪刀好不好,取決於操縱剪刀的人。我可以利用剪刀營造任何質感、長度或感覺,當年學藝時也只用一把優質剪刀,只需一把便可以做出所有效果。假如您開始依賴不同剪刀,那就完蛋了。

10. 對新晉髮型師有何忠告?隨心和直覺發展事業,只聽從有往績支持的前輩指教。要做和學習甚麼都有許多途徑。儘管去學習最好最有效的方法,但切勿拋棄尊嚴、熱情和質素,要擊敗競爭對手,質素就是關鍵。潮流不斷改變,今天所學的明天已不合用。您付出的努力和精神跟回報永遠成正比,您投射幾多光芒,便能吸引幾多賞慕者。享受這個行業的樂趣,愛您的事業!
