Welcome to the specialty care clinics at the CHDD. Our clinics provide assessment, evaluation, and treatment of children and adults including those with developmental disabilities, genetic syndromes, cardiac and neuropsychiatric disorders.

Our goal is to provide patients and their families with the information and resources they need to achieve their potential. Our physicians and other providers from the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC) are working together to bring world-class care to you and your family.

Directions to the UW Medical Center (UWMC) UW Medical Center is located at 1959 N.E. Pacific St. at the south end of the University of Washington campus.

From Interstate 5, take Exit 168B onto SR 520 toward Bellevue. Exit at Montlake Blvd. N.E. and follow the signs to the Medical Center.

From Interstate 405, take Exit 14 onto SR 520 heading west. Exit at Montlake Blvd. N.E. and follow the signs to the Medical Center.

S1 parking: proceed west on N.E. Pacific St. with hospital to your left. Turn left on 15th Ave NE and proceed to parking gate where you will get a permit for the S1 garage parking and further directions from the attendant.

4 Options for UWMC & CHDD Parking Directions from Parking to the Clinics

S1 Parking Garage Closest parking is the S1 parking garage, located behind the UWMC, west of the CHDD building. Lot S1 has a height restriction of 7’ 5”. Over-sized parking is available in the Husky Stadium parking lot.

Access the lot from 15th Avenue N.E. Stop at gate house 6 to obtain a parking permit. All CHDD patients and families should request a disability placard. A cash payment of $15.00 is required upon entry. Please leave the permit on your dashboard.

Enter the mid-level of the S1 Parking Garage (west end). Drive to the far (east) end of S1. Walk out of S1 at the east end and enter CHDD Clinic building. Patients can be dropped off at the CHDD S9 west entrance from which vehicles can return to S1 for parking. A partial discount voucher will be given at appointment check-in for patients or family members.

Valet Parking Valet parking service for patients and their visitors is located in front of the Medical Center, near the main entrance. Allow extra time if you choose to use valet parking.

Triangle Parking Garage The Triangle Parking Garage is located on N.E. Pacific Place, across the street from UW Medical Center. From Montlake Blvd., turn left onto N.E. Pacific Street and right onto N.E. Pacific Place. The Triangle Garage has a height restriction of 6’ 8”. There is direct access to the third floor (main UWMC entrance) via a pedestrian tunnel.

Surgery Pavilion Parking Garage The Surgery Pavilion Parking Garage is accessed off of N.E. Pacific Street next to the Emergency Room entrance. The Surgery Pavilion has a height restriction of 9’ 6” on Level P1. Levels P2 & P3 (2nd & 3rd floor) have a height restriction of 6’ 7”. Take elevator and follow signs to the 3rd floor (main UWMC entrance).

From the S1 parking lot , proceed east to the CHDD. See lower right map for location.

From valet service, walk east to the main entrance of UWMC. The Information Desk has detailed directions and a map and may be able to provide an escort.

From the Triangle Garage, take the pedestrian tunnel to the front entrance of the UWMC. The Information Desk has detailed directions and a map and may be able to provide an escort.

From the Surgery Pavilion Parking Garage, take the elevator to the third floor. Walk across the pedestrian overpass to the main hospital building lobby. The Information Desk has detailed directions and a map and may be able to provide an escort.

Disability Parking For All CHDD patients and families with mobility parking needs, the closest parking is in the S1 Garage; please request a disability placard at the gate house. Valet parking is available at the main entrance of the Medical Center; wheelchairs and escort services are available from the Information Desk.

Parking Rates S1 parking garage requires $15 cash payment at entry with some reimbursement at exit. No additional charge for in & out access. Pay at exit for other parking areas. Same fees apply to valet parking. Request discount voucher at clinic check-in.
