CURRENTLY….

Majority of iPads are well past their use by date

Thin clients are coming out of warranty and are not providing a stable platform for teachers to work on

Apple TVs are not working consistently with devices and rooms – most teachers are finding they need to be tied to the cord to be able to use projection

Load on computer labs is excessive – particularly when assessment is due

Page 4: Direction of staff devices presentation final

Speed and reliability of thin clients lacking

Viability of iPad as a ‘one stop shop’ for teacher

Consistency of Apple TV in the classroom

Unable to print from iPad without using Citrix

Compatibility of Apple platform with Windows platform (Pages, Keynote)

Projection issues – there is currently no reliable system available that will stream video – staff will continued to be encouraged to use cords for this
