A B O U T U S

GUMIS is a company specialised in rubber molding, metal machining and

rubber/metal custom made products. Company was formed in 1993. as a

serial based production company and since then is successfully operating

on very competitive markets. With increase in our business scope and by

following global trends the company has invested in production

modernisation and has broaden its product line allowing itself to compete

in new industrial and shipping markets, including products for boats,

sailboats, yachts and cruise ships.

Our product line covers various vibrating dampers, custom made couplings

with rubber element, different protective cups and plugs for chairs/lounge

chairs and other products used in cruise shipping and linked industries.

In the light of our growing business structure, the company also started to

offer complete metal machining service, including milling, turning, drilling,

welding, sand blasting and laser-cut technology.

TODAY, Gumis is a company specialised in designing and producing

numerous serial based or custom made rubber/metal elements. We

devote a great deal of attention to our clients by addressing their needs

individually and knowingly to ensure superior quality product or service.

High market demands, constant technological progress and global

competition encourage us to maintain and improve product quality by

investing in technology, know-how, professional development while

keeping a stimulative and team oriented work area.

NBR 90 SHORE A RUBBER SPIDER FOR COUPLINGS

Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) -- sometimes called Buna N -- the most economical and widely used standard coupling element material, resembles natural rubber in resilience and elasticity; resistant to oil, hydraulic fluid and most chemicals; operating temperature ranges from -40ºF to +212ºF (-40ºC to +100ºC). With hardness of 80-90 Shore A, NBR provides the best damping capability among elastomeric elements.
