The deadline for the call of papers will be April 12, 2019 at 8pm (Central European Time – GMT + 02:00).

In order to select the recipient for the award, the Jury established for each category will be given authority and autonomy to interpret and apply these guidelines, also declaring the prize vacant if that is the case.

The final decision will be reached a month after the deadline and it will be made public immediately. The award recipient (or a representative) is strongly encouraged to attend the Award Ceremony on May 11th 2019.

The prize to be awarded is in the amount of THREE THOUSAND EUROS. Tax will be applied to this prize money and will be deducted following Spanish regulations and taxations. The prize will be exclusively deposited in a Santander Bank’s account.

The Jury has the authority to deem the prize vacant or even award it to more than one paper, thus dividing the prize equally by the number of winning papers. The decision of the Jury is final.

The winning paper will be promoted in the publication designated by the RCU Escorial-María Cristina. The author(s) of the winning paper will be allowed to publish the paper in any publication of his or her choice once it has been published by the RCU Escorial-María Cristina. In any case, the rights of the author and the intellectual property will always remain in possession of the author(s). The material submitted for the award will not be returned to the participants.

The participant author(s) may be from any country and of any nationality. There may be one author or a group of authors. By participating in this award, the author is in agreement with all the guidelines presented above.
