The PCM allows to explicitly model the influence factors on the quality of components, e,g. the execution environment or the usage of the components. Thesis Goals: The goal of this thesis is to extend the Palladio Component Model for its application in virtualized storage environments. For this purpose, the focus is to predict the performance of I/O-intensive applications in virtualization.
