These ecumenical healing services are held 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at Church of the Ascension, 4950 S. Apopka‐Vineland Rd, Orlando, 32819.  Services are free and open to all. We are faithfully following our Lord’s command to “heal the sick who are there and tell them ‘the kingdom of God has come near you’” which we do standing on his promise that it is through the power of his Holy Spirit that he continues to heal those who are brought to him in prayer.   See flyer included on page 4 in this issue for more information.

“Soul in the City” (SITC), Youth Ministry Mission:  July 22 – 26, All Saint’s, Lakeland  “Soul in the City” is once again happening Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26 in Lakeland.  This year's theme is BRAVE.  Each day will include devotions, work projects (8:45am ‐ 3pm), worship, fellowship, and being on mission together.  The cost per person is $100, which includes lunch, dinner, t‐shirts, and the event itself

Daughters of the King Meetings in August & September

The Commission on Ministry is hosting the Annual Conference on Ministry at Church of the Messiah, 241 N. Main Street in Winter Garden on Saturday, August 24th 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.   Rectors and Vicars, please consider with care those you might encourage to attend this conference.   Who in your congregation has demonstrated leadership gifts and has a passion for leading and equipping God’s people?  Who has the heart of a deacon?  Who is struggling with a call to ministry and unsure what form that ministry might take?   Who is already clear about a call to ordination and who are you prepared to support in continuing discernment?  The Conference on Ministry is for them! AND it is required for all aspirants to ordained ministry.  To register, contact Ellen Ceely at: [email protected]  or call her at (407) 206‐4434. FLYER included on page 7.
