Father in Heav’n who lovest all,O help Thy children when they call,That they may build from age to ageAn undefiled heritage.
Teach us to bear the yoke in youth,With steadfastness and careful truth,That in our time Thy grace may giveThe truth whereby the nations live.
Teach us to look in all our endsOn Thee for judge, and not our friends,That we, with Thee, may walk uncowedBy fear or favour of the crowd.
Teach us the strength that cannot seekBy deed or thought, to hurt the weak,That, under Thee, we may possessMan’s strength to comfort man’s distress.
Teach us delight in simple thingsAnd mirth that has no bitter springs,Forgiveness free of evil doneAnd love to all men ‘neath the sun.

As an institution with a strong heritage of pursuing excellence whilst providing a holistic education of the highest calibre for all boys regardless of their background, DBS constantly aspires to preserve and advance its vision and mission. To achieve the finest results, whether in service, leadership, character building, academics, sports, music, or the arts, our boys benefit from having full access to proper resources and support. Through DBS Foundation, we hope to pioneer and promote the culture of giving within the DBS community, and eventually throughout the field of education.
