Improvement from Conventional Wax Production

COST-REDUCTION of wax production is a must. Conventional wax production needed a lot of manual work, so it took time to retouch wax patterns. By the new DVWI and AAC II system, you can speedily set parameters appropriate to individual rubber mold so defect ratio can be much decreased and productivity will be increased.

Here is a way to a big profit.

Wax Shrinkage Reduced by "Multiple-Injection"

In the case of the conventional Auto Clamp, it was necessary to set Injection, Clamp, Forward pressure and Hold time manually at each injection. It was hard to set the four kinds of parameters precisely in a short time, so the parameter setting was not changed often enough. Therefore it was the cause of producing defective wax patterns and fluctuation of wax weight. With the AAC II, 10,000 combinations of injection parameters can be set into memory by inputting single digit of memory numbers for each Press 1, Press 2, Time (of starting Press 2), Clamp, Forward and Hold. It becomes possible to inject into thousands of different rubber molds with repeatability.

Just place a mold on the clamp unit of the AAC II, input digits, and press the START button, then the workcycle (clamp, forward the mold to the nozzle, receive wax, hold it until wax gets hard, and unclamp) will be done automatically.

10 different parameters of PRESS 1, PRESS 2, TIME of starting press 2, CLAMP, FORWARD, HOLD time can be stored. From 10,000 combinations of wax shooting, you can choose the optimum combination easily.

Wax shrinkage is a major problem causing considerable metal loss and changes in shape of the object when polishing is complete. The solution is newly developed two-time injection system that minimizes the wax shrinkage.

In a short time after the first injection, a surface layer is solidified (formation of balloon layer).

After a specified interval, the second injection is made to expand the balloon layer to the extent that matches the shrinkage.

This injection pressure is kept for a time enough to solidify the wax so that a required and correct shape of wax is assured.

The rubber mold is always aligned with the injection nozzle of the wax injector by the 'Lateral Flexibility Mechanism' of the AAC II.
