Sign in to SavvasRealize.com. Click Sign In. Enter your username and password.

Explore the Teacher’s Edition (also known as Realize Reader).

Select Programs, and click myPerspectives ELA. In the Table of Contents, click the Teacher’s Edition. Click Open in new window. Notice that you have access to the following:

Complete Interactive Student Edition

Menu/Table of Contents navigation that lets you quickly access additional Teacher’s Edition-only content (planning pages, embedded Teacher’s Edition notes)

Explore the Student Edition.

Click the Student Edition. Click Open in new window. You will see the Unit 1 Opener. IMPORTANT: To view the entire grade-level Student Edition, click the Menu in the upper-right corner to access the Table of Contents and navigate to the different units and selections.

Explore the Unit Resources.

In the Table of Contents, click Unit Resources. Click a unit you would like to explore.

The unit-level resources are listed in sequential order for each unit and provide immediate access to the materials.

Unit-level resources range from Home Connection Letters and Audio Summaries to Performance Tasks.

ACTIVITY: Find and list three different unit resources in various formats (i.e., video, audio, lesson support).

Explore the Program Level Resources.

In the Table of Contents, click Unit Resources. Then click Program Level Resources.

These program-level resources include graphic organizers such as the First-Read Guide, Close-Read Guide, and Evidence Log.

The graphic organizers are editable PDFs which allows students to type in them directly and save their work. The graphic organizers can also be assigned to students and returned to the teacher.

Explore the customization options.

Explore the following customization options on the right-hand navigation bar: Create Content, Rearrange, and My Content.

The flexibility built into myPerspectives allows you to customize the contents to meet your needs.

You can add content, modify it, link it, and rearrange it into any order that aligns with your district’s English Language Arts framework.

With Google Classroom™ integration, you can use Savvas Realize content together with your Google Classroom instructional plans to better reach all learners. With one click, you can share Savvas Realize content through Google Classroom via the Classroom Share button.
