R&B NEXCADETM Controller Group Multi purpose, modular type Digital Controllers

Versatile and Reliable Performance R&B has supplied various kind of material testing systems in the fields of precise mechanical testing during last two decades. Engineers in many industries including metals, ceramics, polymers, semiconductors have been used R&B testing equipments and software to test the durability and performance of products and materials R&B supplies the tailored technology and tips to help the user’s precise test a materials, designs and products in the field of automobiles, aircraft, construction, bio and medical devices field. During last 15 years, R&B has developed and upgraded continuously the digital controllers for material testing. The latest version of R&B new NEXCADE controllers group used with same main board has been established. User can save time and effort in training and testing setup as this same hardware platform. Also users can expand their testing capabilities easy and low cost.

The basic design of NEXCADE controllers group has been based on diversity of R&B experience in provided solutions for extreme conditions. These new controllers group are used to carry out a test set up, accurate closed-loop control, data acquisition, sensor conditioning to suit for testing needs.

Creative Hardware The new NEXCADE digital controller has been developed with many user’s feedback data and latest computer version during last 15 years These controllers are upgraded several times and currently finished to set up 3th generation modular digital controller NEXCADE 7 These controllers all share a common set of boards and I/O modules. Advantages in Test schedule set up Through the use of HELIO 7 software and its scheduler function, user can set up test schedule very easy. Advantages in Safety Dual structure on safety is adapted for user’s safety. Hardware limits and software limits are applied. NEXCADE 7 Digital Controllers Group There are four kinds of controllers in NEXCADE 7 digital controller group - 7,7S, 7C, 7R NEXCADE 7

Controller is principal model of R&B controller and used for most systems including RB 300 UNITECH Material testing system series and 100 Series Wear testers

NEXCADE 7S Controller is simple model of 7 Series and has nearly same functions and capabilities except LCD display panel.

NEXCADE 7C Controller is used for RB 305 Creep system series.

NEXCADE 7R Controller is used for RB 304 CERT (SSRT) system

HELIO 7 Software HELIO 7 software has been developed with various and complex research demands and test The software has flexibility to adapt to changing development requirements, simplicity and ease-of-use needed for product QA and QC testing quickly and efficiently HELIO 7 software is designed to intensified user ability to perform accurate and repeatable mechanical testing of materials and products. HELIO 7 software produces most complete test definition, execution and report generation capabilities. HELIO 7 software can be readily configured to perform monotonic and cyclic testing at both low- and high-force capacities, meet most ASTM, ISO, and DIN and perform other standard and custom tailored test HELIO 7 is powerful application software that enables user to easily automate test procedures. User can run test methods for tensile, compression, flexure, and other simple monotonic tests using this software. Also user can make easily test sequences, including any sequence of command generation and data acquisition. The flexibility of extending in data analysis helps user’s changed purpose. The software saves data from user’s tests in a standard form, allowing user to use favorite spreadsheet program or analysis package. These functions give user good flexibility in analyzing, plotting, and report on the achieved data. User can check the status of system and test result with graphical user interface and mouse-driven functions.
