Welcome to Materials Processing. There are many different types of wood. We will be working with several different types in class this year, so lets take time to explore them.

Task

You will be working with a partner to find out about different types of wood. Each group will be doing a different type. You will need to find out where the tree grows, what type of wood it is, and what it is used for. Once you have found all the needed information you will be completing a poster about your type of wood.

1. Pick a partner.2. Look at the list of woods below and choose

one. (Have a back-up choice)
