The Didi Schreiner Estate

Jodi Shaw
The artist’s nephew is not familiar with his aunt’s work or history. He would like to donate all these materials to a museum (or to several museums) but he’s not exactly sure what there is, their significance, or their volume. In order to get a better understanding of these materials, he wants to have each work fully photographed, catalogued, and organized by type of material so that he can access this information and provide it for museums and to begin the donation process.
Jodi Shaw
I suggest this mission statement be more closely aligned with what the nephew wants, which is not to "preserve and extend the legacy" but to have the materials cataloged and organized in a form that he enables him to better understan his aunt's work and also provide information to museums to facilitate this process. I suggest a more distilled version of this instead.

LOL. Just kidding about this image. I am looking for a better one!

well it is about the money.

Morning, should the mission statement be what our assignment is from the proposal that was given to us at the beginning of class or describing the artist?

“The artwork comes to me in a vision. Then it is a matter of patience to put all the bits and pieces together until it becomes a shadow of that vision.” -Didi Schreiner

Documentation Strategy *

* It is important to note that due to the architectural restrains of xDams, our conceptual data map cannot be translated into the software without the modification of some parts of the original relationships.Nonetheless, notes have been made in every record to maintain sibling relationships between sculptures and their preparatory drawings.
