Welcome to ResidHydroTreat 2019THE PREMIER EVENT FOR RESIDUE HYDROTREATERS
The coming few years are offering quitea few challenges to our industry withenergy demand, IMO Bunker sulphurcap of 0.5% right around the corner, more stringent emission and growth inchemicals market that require qualityfeedstocks at cheaper cost.
Here, residue hydrotreating plays an important role inpretreating of conversion feedstocks from heavier crudesto RFCC, Hydrocracker and Coker units. It reduces catalystreplacement cost, increases conversion units cycle lengthsand improves product yield and refinery economicssignificantly. Residue Hydrotreating dampens the impact ofvariations in crude quality on downstream conversion unitsand thus improving the reliability of the complex.
It is emerging as one of the necessities in any Refineryconfiguration from earlier “good to have” position.
However, residue processing has unique challenges due tothe presence of high CCR, Metals and Asphaltenes.Licensors, Technology providers and Catalystmanufacturers are working diligently to improve the unitand catalyst performance.
ResidHydroTreat in its second edition facilitates the largestand unique platform for Licensors, End users, Technologyand Catalyst providers to exchange experience, share ideasand success stories.
This year also shines a spotlight on young professionalnetworking.
