Diabetes is known to cause neuropathy i.e. disturbances of central, autonomic and peripheral nervous system.

Hence bizarre symptoms related to nerves; such as giddiness; can arise in a diabetic. These symptoms are sometimes minor and negligible and sometimes harrowing and frightening.

You can be disturbed even more devastatingly; due to the information and/or misinformation

you have about the complications (and their implications) of diabetes!

I have found that holding on to NAMASMARAN seems to allay the uprooting and devastating disturbance due to bizarre symptoms such as strange giddiness.

I have also found that drinking lot of water and inducing vomiting by rubbing the palate; immediately allays the symptoms of giddiness in most instances.

But this a personal experience and may not be applicable to all.

On long term basis vitamin B complex, vitamin C and Ayurvedic products like chyavanaprash seem to strengthen the nervous system.

The most important thing is not feeling helpless. But this is very difficult, because all the mental attachments start acting on you and make you feel that every thing is lost! You are a greatest looser and sinking!
