LETTER fromTHE EDITORDear Dhvani,

Firstly, let me tell you that this has been the toughest gift I’ve everworked on! I realised it pretty soon but by then I’d already made up

my mind that you are way too special and I knew how much you wouldvalue it.

This had to be big and so I asked 25 of your close ones to contribute tothe magazine. (Yeah, you have tons of friends!). Google Forms camevery handy to collect the answers from everyone. Putting it all togetherwas a pain though- a fun learning nevertheless.

Zain and Majid helped a lot with the magazine and as much as Iwanted to do this with you too, I had to control myself from sharing theslightest of details with you. It’s done finally- I felt like I would never

be able to finish it. I hope you enjoy going through it as much as I’veenjoyed making it.

e at Belle absolutelylove Dhvani and so wedecided to take sometime out to interviewDhvani’s family, friendsand co-workers. We

interviewed 25 people and were not surprised tosee how much this beautiful young lady is lovedand adored by all.

Her family tells us all about her childhoodand how she has now grown up to be a strongindependent woman. A woman, who we knowhas her head high on her shoulders knowingexactly where she is going. Her friends talkabout their fond memories with the lass andwhy she means so much to them. Looking atthe responses, we surely would love to be close

friends with Dhvani and take one of those crazyvacation trips with her.

We knew if we had to dig further, we had tospeak to her co-workers. After all, work is whereone spends most time at. We learnt that not onlyis she very professional in her approach at work, but a very friendly and caring person to workwith too. The team here at Belle is screamingto hire her- alas, if only she wasn’t a celebrityalready!

We also did a short poll to see what her lovedones had to say given the choice to pick from alist of answers. The questions asked are on thenext page, while you can see the results of thepoll at the end of the interviews section. We werevery surprised with some of the results whilesome were a given. One thing we do know forsure is that this girl loves to party!

What were your thoughts when you frst mether?Deep had told me she had won a certain beautypageant ‘The Bahja Queen’ and I had also seenher ‘all decked up model like’ pictures. With she being so young and into all of fashion I so was notsure what to expect but there she was - a simpleprey girl siing in shorts and and an old t-shirt

straightening Deep’s hair!I found her very down to earth, welcoming and

sweet.What I loved about her and still do was thatshe came across as a simple girl. No pretense orshowiness.

A special memory that you have with her?I have loads of good memories with Dhvani butI remember soon after we had just met - we hadgone out late night on a bike with Deep.We both were riding pillion and were singing

really loudly. Deep was geing really embarrassed by our behavior but that made us do it even more.I think we bonded really well.

A special memory that you have with her?Dhvani and I went for Spiderman in Mumbaione time (this was a very long time ago). During

How long have you known Dhvani and howdid you frst meet her?We met October 2013 at Arabian Explorers. Weworked together till March 2015 - indeed a verynice period of time.

What were your thoughts when you frst mether?We had a get to know meeting at the companyand already at that time, I learned Dhvani knowas a young woman who has her vision and targetat the company but also outside the company.

A special memory that you have with her?Berlin - a business trip to the tourism biggesttrade fair March 2014. Special moments werealso our commuting time. Funny, open talksabout company, people, life, interests, future andhelpful exercises to get in shape.

A place you would like to visit/re-visit withDhvani?Guess that would be our commuting from oce

to Marina Dubai. Though, Berlin will also remaina special moment.

A message that you would like to pass on to her?Dhvani is extraordinary independent andoutspoken in her culture/from where she comesfrom. She knows where she wants to go and whather values in life are - follow your hard and keep

What were your thoughts when you frst mether?Nothing much, I was tired, away from home andshe showed me a dirty apartment, so actually I just wanted to leave and y back to Swierland.Sorry Dhvani

A special memory that you have with her?Oh there are a lot of memories and I would notmiss one of those. But the best memory I hadwith Dhvani Ajakumar Gandhi is most likely theroadtrip to Oman. It was amazing to get to knowOman for the rst time and we had a blast insnake canyon. It was also cool to get to know allher cousin brothers, brother, mami, mama, cousincousins and so on in Muscat!
