1. Launch DHL EasyShip
2. Go to “Tools”
3. Select “Launch Export Utility”
4. Select “Create a new Export Definition”
5. Click “Next”

8. The following are selected as defaults:
a. Delimited
b. Comma as the delimiter
c. Include Field Names on First Row

10. Select all fields for export by clicking the “>>” button

12.Enter c:\dhlcommodity under “Save Export Definition to file”

14.Uncheck any options that are checked for frequency/time of export
15.Enter c:\DHLCommodity.csv as the output file name.
• The text of the file name must be “DHLCommodity.csv” or the import will not work

18. Open DHLCommodity.csv file created from the EasyShip commodity export using ‘Notepad’ or ‘Wordpad’.
• Do not use Excel for editing the file. It modifies the formatting of the file
19. Remove spaces and # from the first rows of the following column names (in the first row)

20.Note (No Action Required): ‘Unit of Measure’ is not exported from EasyShip. WorldShip will default the Unit of Measure to ‘Each’.
21.Note (No Action Required): ‘Unit Price’ is not exported from EasyShip. WorldShip will import the ‘Total Value’ into the Unit Price.
22. If importing SED information:• In the Schedule B field, remove the periods. For example ‘9101.29.1020’
should be modified to ‘9101291020’• The Unit of Measure for SED information will be imported as ‘Number’• Any SED commodities that have a license with an expiration date will fail
due to date formatting issues.• Commodities can be modified after import if necessary.
23.Save the changes and file to x:\UPS\WSTD\ImpExp\Invalid then exit Notepad or Wordpad

24.Download and save “DHLCommodity.dat”, InvImp.bin, and InvExp.bin to x:\UPS\WSTD\ImpExp\Commod
25.Download and save the “schema.ini” file to x:\UPS\WSTD\ImpExp\Invalid

31. Click "Next" on the Import/Export preview
32. Click “Save” when the import is complete. Commodities can now be selected in WorldShip using the Commodity Editor
33. Any invalid records are saved to “C:\UPS\WSTD\ImpExp\ Invalid\ComInv.csv”; records can be modified in this file and re-imported using the ‘Default Import Invalid Records’ map type Commodity
