Alternative mouse – Overview

This project treats the concept of developing an IT product – an alternative mouse shaped as a glove.

This glove has the main advantage of transforming the normal interaction with the PC into one who is more analog and user-friendly.

One advantage of this product is the wireless connection that will enable a communication with a PC not limited by a certain space or surface.

The mobility of movement will be useful to painters or people who use their hands to create digital art.

Constraints

The main issue in this project is the cost of the development – the sum of the components prices and the sum of the employee salary

Since this is a product that needs to be developed and then released, another constraint is getting the client happy with it – the acceptance phase must be a success- that’s why we have many steps that need the client’s validation – we must have an agile approach

Conclusions

OpenProj is the right tool when we have to deal with a small to medium size project, being simple to learn and efficient to use.

Since this was a medium sized project, with a limited number of people involved in it, OpenProj proved itself useful to learn, and by using its task scheduler and graphical representation, I was able to fully understand how a similar project may develop.
