    An intensive rooftop garden, like the desert lush Aria pool deck at CityCenter in Las Vegas, is easily accessible to building occupantsand planted with trees and shrubs. To maximize the return on thisinvestment, a thoughtful maintenance regimen including monitoringirrigation, feeding and plant care is recommended.

    Approximately 360,000 gallons of water circulate through the greenroof that is the Aria pool deck at CityCenter in Las Vegas every four hours. To help offset some of the pool water demands and achieve LEED-Gold status, highly ef cient drip irrigation systemswere installed and are expected to help reduce water consumptionby more than 50% when compared to the traditional spray head irrigation installation.
