EDCTP mission

To reduce the burden of diseases of poverty: HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis and other neglected tropical diseases by accelerating development of new or improved tools against these diseases

This is done by funding clinical trials and the necessary capacity development through a European Union-African partnership in collaboration with third parties
