As the world continues to discover the endless benefits of EVOoil from the Mediterranean, the Polifenolica session willtherefore be dedicated towards stimulating the discussionsurrounding EVO oil with its key players, originating from variouscountries and sectors (business, political and academic).

Due to its richbiodiversity, the rising of temperatures may have adevastating effect on the Med, which has to bepreserved at all costs. Because of this, the exhibitionwill focus much of its program on the socio-politicalparadigms at the heart of this challenge, fosteringclimate change mitigation and the sustainability of theMed’s ecosystem. Indeed, the UN 2030 Agenda, aswell as the European Commission sustainabledevelopment efforts will be highlighted, and much ofthe debates will be concentered on providing solutionsto this modern day crisis. Seminars and dialogues willbe focused on agricultural and environmentalassociations, recycling consortiums, raw materials, andbusinesses related to circular economy, endorsed bythe Italian Ministry of the Environment. Indeed, today’strend shows an increasing phenomenon amongconsumers: a cultural growth that matches foodand wine, enhancing food quality through a newstylish storytelling. Hotels, Restaurants andCatering operators, professionals and buyers, aswell as chefs and banqueting managers will cometo teach and learn about products from theMediterranean, as well as create tasting andexperiential show cooking events. All the visitorswill be able to attend and participate to the showcookings, presentation and prize givingceremonies.
