This expansion will increase floor space for retail, generate jobs and create retail opportunies for business and investment. New Bannockburn P-12 School A new P-12 school will be built in Bannockburn via a Public Private Partnership with the State Government. Residenal Housing Rapid populaon growth combined with affordable housing and close proximity to Geelong and Ballarat has fuelled strong demand for housing development in the north and south of the Shire. Improved infrastructure such as reculated sewerage has been rolled out in Smythesdale to help accommodate this growth.
